Came here on Honeymoon. Location is perfect, one can walk to the beach. Hotel provides free pass. Nice pool. Staff Friendly and helpful with visitor information. Good Breakfast invluded! :) it was nice, I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Quite, easy to find, close to major casinos (walking distance). Breakfast was a plus
Cons: For the price, this was an excellent choice.
Location: Harvey's, Harrahs, everything
After a cross country flight to San Francisco and a drive to South Lake Tahoe, just wanted a no problem check in and a clean room. We got this and much more. Entertainment was within walking distance, (Harvey's and Harrahs). Surroundings were beautiful, clean, and everyone was pleasant.

Bad smell - soggy carpet

Pros: Nice location.
Cons: It is just too old. Could use a complete remodel.
Location: Close to the beach, casinos, ski lifts, shopping. Able to walk to just about anything.
Great location, old facility. Staff very helpful. Room had mold/mildew odor and soggy wet carpet between the bathroom and bed. Didn't go to the front desk to discuss as we returned to the room after a wedding rather late. The facility was fully booked so we felt there would be no chance of a change of room. We left at 2:00 a.m. because of the smell. This is a two story facility with no elevator.

Pros: Breakfast was a pleasant surprise! Hot waffles, eggs, fried potatoes, muffins, bagels, etc.!
Cons: Without major construction not much can be done.
Location: Location is fine, close to casinos and lake.
Room was very small, only the bed,no table & chairs. Shower was extremely small, could not turn around in it.

Great breakfast included! Clean but older.

For the price it's a good value. The comforter & sheets were very wrinkled,but made. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the thought of the possibility of bedding not being changed out of my head. It might just be cheap bedding but if it were pressed I would've given more stars. It's close to everything & I would stay again. Bathroom was very clean & fine. Breakfast included is very good, waffles, eggs, cereal, potatoes, apples! Coffee was good too!!

Affordable hotel close to gondola and beach

For an older hotel it was pretty clean and you can't beat the price with free breakfast and WiFi.

A go to hotel when staying in South Lake Tahoe

Friendly staff, walking distance to casino, walking distance to the lake, lots of parking, free breakfast, room had microwave, refrigerator, king size bed and a small balcony.

complaint

Pros: nothing
Cons: heat on in room and different cleaning solution something that doesn't stink so bad.
This place stunk so bad my wife refused to stay. We went and got a room at Harvey,s for less money and clean beautiful room. I brought keys back next morning at 7:30 a.m. and place was locked up. I would have told them myself rather than this e-mail. You got 2 nights rent out of me and I only stayed in the room about 5 minutes so I am very unhappy and I will share my story with anyone I know that is traveling.
