“Great place to take your family!!!”

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Stardust Lodge. They have lots of amenities to offer such as free bikes, 500 free dvd's to take back to your room, pools, games, a weight room, and they even offered dinner for a fraction of what you could eat out for. It is located in a very convient location for South Lake Tahoe. Shops and resturants are all within walking distance of the hotel. We stayed in one of the room where the bed folds down out of the wall which I thought was really awesome. The room was very spacious with the bed folded into the wall, it got a little cramped when the bed was out but not so cramped you couldn't move around. Overall, I think out of the 5 places I stayed on my honeymoon this was by far the coolest and the most fun. If I ever go back to Lake Tahoe I will be staying at the Stardust Lodge again.

“Really nice hotel close to everything”

The hotel is close to everything that maters in South Lake Tahoe. Friendly personel, clean and quiet studio. Warm and pleasant in the middle of the winter and no problems whatsoever making the rezervation through Expedia.

“Great Bang for you Buck”

Found this hotel for less than half of what other hotels were charging in the same area. The hotel is right across the street from the Heavenly gondola, Heavenly village, and withing walking distance to Harrahs and Harvey's casino's. I had a studio which was very much like a small timeshare. It had a mini fridge, microwave and toaster, a separate sink, dishes, a TV, DVD player, and even a CD player. It did have a drop down bed, but even it was pretty nice with overhead lighting lots of extra pillows and blankets. The hotel also has hot tubs that you can use which was pretty nice. The hotel staff was also very accommodating helping with a late checkout and even an extra parking pass for a friend. My only complaint was I could hear the people above us walking around which was a problem for me since they were always walking around. I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat to anyone looking for a small hotel that's homey and has a great location.

“Great place to stay”

I was on a solo ski vacation. The hotel was directly across the street from the Gondola, lockers, rentals, lift tickets, ice skating rink, movie theater and large grocery store with a good salad bar - my dinner one evening. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Although the hotel serves breakfast, donuts were on the list of items served and I didn't trust myself to not eat one. So I fixed microwave-scrambled eggs in my room. The only downside was high winds forced closure of the gondola one day so in order to ski I had to either drive or take the shuttle to another base area. Luckily I was able to turn in my rentals and skip that day of skiing. I would definitely stay there again on another solo ski trip or with group of friends looking for convenience and reasonable price.

i thought this hotel was very conveneint and served our purpose, we were going to ski and it is directly across the st. from the heavenly gondola. it was very clean .the people were very helpful,courteous and nice.( i wish they would get some new mattresses or at least a pillowtop pad, but we slept ok.) that was the only thing i could complain about. everything else was better than i expected. the price is right at this hotel. we wanted to splurge on other things while we were there, not pay a fortune for a hotel room just to sleep. i loved our vacation . we had a great time .i do recommend the stardust, and i will go back..it felt homey..

“Wonderful location”

Really enjoyed our stay over Washington's b'day weekend. Room is kind of small for 3 but that's because they thought of everything you could possibly need. It was like having an efficiency apartment in a hotel room. Location is wonderful, right across from the Gondola and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this place.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Stardust Motel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was a great location to shopping and a few short blocks to the beach. The rooms were clean and we appreciated the little refrigerator and microwave. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel was wonderful,after staying at the slightly ghetto Travelers inn the previous night,the Stardust was so great and comfortable.It exceeded expectations,partly due to the magical snow storm and my 7 year old asked if we could live there!The front desk was the nicest person Ive ever had check me in .Ill definately be back.

We used hotel several time and come back with pleasure. Close to Gondola and all that you want around: food, goods, etc. Good price, clear room and polite staff. Thanks
