The Inn was looking a little tired.Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: The staff were on the ball, friendly and polite, good location and quiet.
Cons: Spend some $$$ on the Inn , it needs some help.
Location: Truckee is just a super spot on the road , as well as a winter escape, lots of good restaurants and shops.. great scenery around the area..
the Inn was looking a little tired when we stayed there, the staff were very helpful and friendly, but the rooms were in need of an update, not a very exciting breakfast , it would have made a difference if the Inn had put some thought into the breakfast items, a pretty sad offering..

Too close to I-80Posted Sep 16, 2014
Location: All of Truckee.
Overall OK but could hear traffic from I-80 thru walls and window at night. Had tp run fan to drown out the noise.

Not clean.Posted Sep 14, 2014
This hotel had several positives, however the bathroom was not clean with hair clumps on the floor and soap film in the shower.

Not comfortablePosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Close to town
Cons: Up-dates to linens. Train cleaning staff better.
Location: Truckee is very beautiful. There are lots of shops and great dining areas and a very lively night life.
Very small and dated, very old linens. The bathroom was dirty.

Ok for a place to sleepPosted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Not much room to move with 2 adults and 2 children. No elevator. Shower didn't work well, water was boiling hot one minute and ice cold the next, without touching anything. Great location, walking distance to shop and dine.

Needs UpdatingPosted Aug 19, 2014
I booked the room for the August 16 Tough Mudder. The queen bed (2 were fullsize beds and the box style TV needed to be fixed since it no longer played in color. The hot water regulator did not hold the temperature steady, so the shower would be warm one moment and cold the next.

OK. hotelPosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The staff and were it is located.
Cons: the rooms need to be updated and cleaned better, and while we were there for 4 days the sauna and whirlpool never worked...
Location: There are grocery stores, pharmacy, lots of places to get something to eat and not far from downtown..
It was OK, BUT, needs some updating, LOVE the location near downtown and the price was better then a lot of the other hotel's around. Needs some TLC that's for sure, the staff were very nice and accommodating.

great middle of the road placePosted Aug 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
i have never stayed here, usually opting for places on Donner lake, but at 50% less than those, this is a great middle of the road place. it is not fancy but friendly staff, very clean room, close to anything you are in the area to do.Try Bills Rotisserie in the adjacent shopping center, amazing..sandwiches !there is a hot tub ,and a continental breakfast.you are in Truckee, close to Donner lake.(Safeway/dining/shopping all 1/2 mile away)
