Overall a great stay. Hotel was clean and staff were respectful. Nice, quiet, and away from the crowd. Great view, amenities, and provides a variety of recreation for the family. Will come back again.

We stayed 3 nights in a 1 bedroom condo unit located in "The Towers" building on the tenth floor. The unit was very clean and decorated very nicely--upscale. We had a corner unit that had great views of the mountains as well as Lake Tahoe in the distance. Rooms on lower floors or in other buildings would not have the same great view. Possibly even rooms on the same floor but not a corner unit would not have the view of Lake Tahoe, but mountain views would still be good. Service was friendly and excellent. No complaints. Would definitely go back if we could get same corner unit or similar.

“Excellent place”

Nice large condo like room with view. Comfortable, clean, good value, easy to get shuttle to ski area. Underground parking convenient. Service good, nice people who work there. A little pushy as far as trying to sell you a timeshare.I will return next trip to tahoe.

“Great resort with a killer view”

This might be the nicest resort i have ever stayed at. It is a little out of the way but well worth it, the views are amazing. There are a few things in the room that look a little aged, but you could find this at any hotel. Over all the room was great it was the biggest room I have ever stayed in, the two bed room suite is about 1200 square feet. It comes with a full kitchen with utensils, full size refrigerator/freezer, tub/shower combo in both bathrooms, a washer and dryer,dishwasher, large dining room table with six chairs, wraparound sofa, sleep number beds, the windows open, and it comes with three tv's and the one in the living room has surround sound. It is five miles from Harrahs and Harveys which is a pretty quick trip just over ten minutes away but they have everything you need at the resort. There are a couple different restaurants, a market, atm, heated pool, many spas indoor and outdoor, tennis, basketball, racquetball, miniature golf, a movie theater. I already booked my next trip and I just went the first time One month ago, can't wait.

“Lake Tahoe Delight”

From check-in to check -out every aspect of the stay was wonderful. I stayed in the Tower in a one bedroom suit. Everything from a wonderfully equipped kitchen to a very comfortable liviing room and bedroom was most satisfactory. The staff at The Ridge was great especially the housekeeping department. They were there to take care of any of my needs. Having the free bus service between the resort and town was wonderful. I didn't have to drive at all for the entire length of my stay. One of the most important aspects of my stay was that I was there to do some hiking and having a trail head right on the property that connected to the Tahoe Rim Trail was most excellent. The wine tasting event made for a very enjoyable time as well. This is a first class resort with a first class staff and facilities. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed myself during this stay. Thnk you to all the staff and Expedia for offering such a good rate.

“Nice Tahoe Getaway!”

The location was perfect, not too far from the casinos along the South Shore strip. We stayed in a 2 room Suite with King Beds in each room and a pull out couch in the living room. It was very comfortable to sleep 6. It had a full kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Each room had its own full bathroom and had the Sleep Number Beds which were neat and also very comfortable. The living room was spacious for our family to hang out after a long day of hiking and hanging out at the beach. The hotel amenities were great, our building had a huge indoor hot tub and a sauna, and also there was miniature golf and a play structure for the kiddies. The main building where we checked in had the indoor and outdoor pools along with steam rooms and a day spa and a nice looking restaurant (we didn't eat there). This is a great resort for a family getaway; we can't wait to come back!

“Great place to stay.”

It is a beautiful place to stay. Convenient to Casino's & restaurants... yet far enough to escape them at the same time. The shuttle service to Casinos & restaurant is great to have. Rooms are clean and high quality. Food and service at the restaurant and bar were both fantastic.

“Best place to stay when skiing”

Our stay at the Ridge was more than we asked for. I read all of the reviews prior to arriving and it is definitely #1 in my book and would return again. We asked to stay in one of the newer properties and we had a fireplace and sleep number beds in our room. Granite bathroom, jacuzzi tub, and any service we needed they were there in no time. This is definitely a great place to stay in if you were to ski. Only thing that I would recommend is that (if it is snowing, you need a 4wd to get up and down the mountain). I give this hotel a thumbs up!!

“Excellent rooms at low prices”

I stayed there in October, I booked 2 bedroom TH and it was in decent condition, the rooms were clean and nice..Kitchen was kinda old and appliances were old too but for me it was ok. King Bedroom was spacious and nicely organised..

“Great place to stay”

We were there for spring skiing and the location and views were wonderful. The hotel staff was very responsive and the room and hotel had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
