“Great choice on the shores of Lake Titicaca”

Even though the hotel is on the outside of Puno, it is close enough to get to know the city by taxi, or walking. It is also nice to visit the old ship beign rebuilt that is anchored just outside the hotel.

“great place to stay”

great hotel, internet not very useful, no in room access, only two computers with access. Staff very good, coca tea available all day and night long.

“Nice spot away from the madness of Puno, overlooking the lake.”

This is a little more expensive than most places in Puno, but worth it. It's nice to get away from it and be by the lake, in amongst their animals!! We ate twice for dinner at the restaurant and it didn't disappoint, the staff and service were great...only small down side is it is slightly out of town if you wanted to be in the heart of it - not that there is much there to see anyway.

“Beautiful view of lake, close to boats”

Convenient to activities although removed from downtown area. Taxi was inexpensive. Dining very good. Full facilities.

“Take a rest in the Titicaca”

This hotel is on the side of river. In front of balcony, It was so nice that there were some traditional peru condola. The staff was so kind and room was very confortable. Most of all, room was warm to take a rest well. You should go to centro for 5-10 minutes by taxi but it deserved to stay.

“Very Comfortable”

The hotel is very comfortable and is very well located. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My stay was very pleasant.

“Lake Titicaca Explorer”

this is a decent quality full service hotel - tends to cater to tour groups - right on the lake and just an inexpensive cab ride to the center of Juno. the front desk was very helpful in arranging tours for us. the food was just ok though the service was very friendly. the only reason to go to this area is to see the lake and overall, we would not recommend making the long journey when your time could be spent in much more interesting parts of Peru.

“Will be better after construction”

Hotel was under construction and our first room was very noisy. Staff was very helpful and we were able to switch to a quieter room. A plus were the cute alpacas in the garden. Food was also excellent. Hotel a bit pricy for Peru.

“Good choice”

This is out of town but on the lake and it is quick and cheap to get into town by taxi. We did not see a better choice in Puno. Do note that 10% service will get added to your restaurant bill so if you are leaving a 15% tip, it becomes 25% on top of the already costly meals. (There is no way the service charge can go to the server.) In both Sonestas we stayed in the bill for dinner (with the least expensive wine) was near the cost of the hotel by the time we got out and there were no nearby alternatives.

“A good choice in Puno”

This hotel is located on the lakeshore a little outside the city. It is very clean and the rooms are in good condition. The blankets in the beds are very heavy but the beds are overall still comfortable. The hotel also has a restaurant which offers high quality meals. A good accommodation choice in Puno.
