Breakfast ...Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Staff were very accommodating. Helpful whenever u needed something
Cons: Rooms are pretty old fashioned, clean but the decor could use and update!
Location: Awesome location! Close to Disneyland, Lego land etc. lots to do and see in area.
Would have been nice for a more variety of brft. I know what a "continental" breakfast consists of and this wasn't even close. All carbs!! 2 choices of cereal, toast or waffles. No fruit or yogurt to be found. In Florida and no oranges offered?? Even the Orange juice wasn't even real, was a fruit drink!

Creeped me out!Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: The sheets seemed clean.
Cons: Everything. The place needs a complete overhaul. It needs to be cleaned with a powersprayer.
Location: It was on the edge of Haines City, a small town. It's not a tourist area.
The sign in front of the motel reads, "The best motel in Haines City". This is as misleading as it could possibly be. I had made the online reservation the evening before. When I arrived, I noticed the outside of the motel looked a bit grungy, but I was dog tired, and wanted a bed badly. The 1st room I was given had a very heavy funky odor (no it wasn't from someone's smoking). The condition of this room, at best, was "questionable". I asked for a different room, and I was obliged. However, although the air smelled 70% better, the 2nd room (as was with the 1st room) looked unkept, worn, old, ... stained carpeting, old box t.v., grimy headboard, grimy door (I could have gotten something off it with a putty knife). Although the sheets & pillowcases looked clean, the pillows were flat & partially lumpy, and I didn't have a good feeling about the bedspread. I picked up the edge of it with 2 fingers and gingerly pulled it completely away from where my body was going to be. The wattage of the lamps was so low that I had to turn on every light in the room to get a minimum of light. ... I slept with one eye open, not sure if I'd see any bugs. Gratefully, I didn't see any. As a result of all these things, I had a very restless sleep. In looking back on it, I should NOT have stayed, even though I had prepaid for the room online. Over a period of 30 yrs, I've stayed at many different hotels and motels. This Rodeway Inn is on the bottom rung of the ladder.

Motel close to friends in area.Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: The motel front desk were helpful and kind.
Cons: The rooms where they place you should be considered according to your circumstances.
I was disappointed in the motel. The price should have told me what to expect. I was a single senior and they put me on the part that had noise extended stay workers. The other side of the motel looked much better and a guest told me that side was much better. The motel workers were very nice to me and when I wanted to leave were very understanding and consented to Expedia to give me credit for the remaining days. I did appreciate their help. I would not stay there again.

Very Pleasant.Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: Price, cleanliness and location
Cons: Add eggs and sausage to the breakfast menue
While not a new facility our room was very clean, orderly and well kept. Management was friendly, helpful and cooperative. Compared to higher priced accommodations we believe a stay here is a great value.,

Not happyPosted Nov 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
No hot water, horrible snowy reception on TV and only 1 lamp in the room worked. The faucets on the sink were backwards. The room was okay as far as cleanliness but not some place that i would want to walk around with no shoes on. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone nor would i ever stay there again.

Cheap and CheerfulPosted Sep 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
We used the hotel for an overnight stop after a long flight from the U.K. and to break up a long drive from Orlando down to Fort Myres. It was cheap and our expectations were not great, however the room was clean and very comfortable, and the staff very friendly and helpful. And as a bonus, they throw in a more than adequate breakfast, and all for less than thirty pounds for the two of us. Can't beat that. Not a place where you would spend your whole vacation, but great for a short overnighter.
