“Pretty nice”

Great for the money, was clean, needed a little TLC , but not bad. I would stay there again. Gave us connecting rooms, which was a plus. Had a fridge in the room, another plus. Front desk girl was real nice. Had a nightclub there that was hopping. Pool looked great, we didn't use it because of the rain.

worked fine for what we needed. Quick trip before a soccer tournament. One night stay, clean room, nice beds. Worked for us.

“Better than expected”

For the rate I paid to stay at the Avenue, I wasn't really expecting much. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to someone passing through Lakeland who is looking for a good deal.

“Better Looking Inside”

Nice hotel, rooms fully updated in the rooms. The outside of the hotel looked very old and dingy but the rooms were beautiful, modern, and very nice. For the price I paid I would definitely stay there again when I'm back in that area. The only issue I had was that we could not rent a movie on the TV without walking to the office first and paying for the movie, no credit/debit accepted or charging to the room, cash only.

“Would Go Back”

The hotel was very nice for the price that we paid. The location was excellant, close to many restaurants and shopping. It is a little old, and could use an update, but, overall it was nice and worth what we paide.

“Overview”

Reasonable hotel with good sized rooms. Location is good for the airport or town centre and the pool is very welcoming on a hot day.

Clean, but sparse. No clock or coffee maker in room.

Front desk people were very nice but my room was very hot air conditioner did not cool even in oct! Two lamps had blown bulbs and noone would change them.advertises free breakfast but does not have it.

didn't get the room that i reserved and very little privacy.
