Waste of money

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Place is running down: smell, rust, molt, wet carpet and tube TVs. Everything needs a fix.

Very nice stay!

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: All the different activities. The food was really good too. Our room was very big and clean.
Cons: Our shower could have been bigger. And I think there should be tile and not carpet in the bathroom.
Location: There was a good restaurant nearby named Rolly's. And there was an Army/Navy Surplus store close by too. Horseback riding, walking around the lake
We stayed in the Cove Fantasy Suite and had a great time. There was plenty of fun things to do, lots of activities. It was quiet and there were a lot of deer on the property. It was a lot of fun.

the room looked like it was from the 1980's

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Carpet torn, stains on the bedspread, old refridgerator , tv and air conditioner. One of the individual cabins had so much debris in the gutter that grass was actually growing in it. Lakeview , huh, only could see trees and a bit of a little tributary off the lake. Balcony chairs were too dirty to sit in.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Posted May 27, 2014
I was looking for somewhere romantic and adventurous to take my boyfriend for his birthday. Cove Haven was so awesome. They have indoor roller skating and ice skating, basketball, pool tables, ping pong, tennis, walley ball, racket ball, volleyball, an indoor and outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor archery, hiking, mini golf and paddle boats. Our room, Garden of Eden, had its own pool and hot tub. They also have a night club with a band and comedians and the whole resort it just really cute. It's like it's own little village. The whole thing was amazing. We both like sports and activities so it was right up our alley :)

Not what we expected

Posted May 12, 2014
We thought this hotel is for resting but they always trying to mix you with other couples and drag you to their activities...maybe it's our problem because we thought it will be something else...plus the room is really old, not so comfortable, the jacuzzi is not so clean etc..

We are very sorry to hear you feel this way. We offer activities all throughout the day in case you feel like participating. Some couples prefer to enjoy their suite.

Good place to relax but way overpriced

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Well, what can I say? We spent over $400 for one night for just a room, a pool, a jacuzzi and two meals. No activities except for the night time shows which were nice. For the amount of money we spent, you can rent a cheap motel with a jacuzzi, buy your own meals and do activities in the poconos. Last year that's what I did and we went zip lining and to a shooting range, had three meals at nice reataurants and got to relax. I think it's a nice place to go if you can get a room on sale at Groupon or something like that. It wasnt worth the money (at least at this time of year). The room was very clean though. I was very happy about that. The food was pretty good too. Even the one they sell at the cafe.

We are very sorry you feel this way. Please know that we do have many activities throughout the day. Some are hosted by a CXO (like bingo, trivia...) and some you can do as a couple (archery, bicycling, mini golf...). We hope for the opportunity to welcome you back to experience all we have to offer.

Amazing Weekend

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The staff and the room
Cons: buffet food
Location: Pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by little towns. About an hour or so away you will find Bushkill Falls. I high recommend a trip there
Staff were wondeerful, especially the wait staff in the dinning hall. Room was amazong. bed was so comfortable. Food was good, buffet food could have been a bit better. Deserts were out of this world. Perfect weekend getawat. The only down side to going in the spring is a lot of things were not opened yet. Planning a iwinter getaway to enjoy snow tubing and snow mobiling.

The room is the best part

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: The room was the best part, private pool, private sauna, private hot tub, Bose system, huge bed, fireplace
Cons: The rooms were a touch outdated and the activities in the center were a bit low key. No one was there to help us with archery, we just guessed
Location: Lakeville was about 15 minutes from the nearest gas station, but they sold almost everything on the resort including cigarettes.
The room was amazing, no need to leave and do activities. The pool was over chlorinated and the hot tub wasn't very clean either, but we cleaned it ourselves. The Bose system was by far one of the best amenities the room offered! We loved the check in, Joe at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming, the driver of the Love Machine was fantastic and speedy, the hostess and waiters at the Dining Hall were courteous and efficient. All in all, we cant wait to return!
