“Can't wait to vacation there in the summer”
Great breakfast buffet.
“Loved it!”
We arrived and were Greeted right away by a very friendly staff! Our room was great, VERY clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! THe views were amazing, the spa was fantastic, and the staff was friendly! Overall a great place to stay!
“Not really worth the money.”
I'm a little disappointed. Had high expectation, because of the price we paid but it definitely did not meet it. Blanket and towels had yellow stains everywhere...gross!!! Had to pay an extra $ per night just to have a refrigerator in the room. Really? If I'm already paying that much for the room, I expect a mini cooler. Everything was ridiculously overpriced, even room service. And quality of food was mediocre. I did like that it was close to town with numerous restaurant choices to chose from. The lake was dry due to the drought, but the hotel can't help that. Pros: Friendly staff, calm, quiet, complimentary drinks from 5-6 (but there was always a long line), relaxing pool area Cons: dirty sheets, overpriced, run down rooms
“Super friendly staff!!”
Planning for surprise birthday party ws a success thanks To the staff. Can't wait to go back
“Great resort for family!”
Had a great time, front desk and lobby people were so friendly! Lovely rooms with view of lake. Everyday we had happy hour rdrinks and snacks on the back porch bar overlooking the lake. The pools were beautiful. We would def stay again and recommend to all. Tons of golf close by as well !!!
“Was a bit dissappointed.”
Was expecting more from this Resort. I felt the room was a bit outdated and only had one sink for two of us which made it hard to use. Fiji bottles of water at 3.50 were overpriced and we would have bought them if they had been cheaper. The bar downstairs was busy and very few places to sit and ambience was lacking, When leaving in the morning we asked if they had complimentary coffee and went down to the bar area, but after tasting the coffee we through it out and headed to Starbucks. We felt that this Resort would have been nicer, more service oriented and more amenities. We most likely will not return.
“Relaxing”
Lakeway is off the path and it allows you to have a nice quiet visit.
“Great Family Fun”
We loved Lakeway Resort. Our kids are five and three and it was great for them too. The pools are a highlight. Our room faced the water and it was beautiful. I foresee visiting Lakeway Resort for years to come because there is so much to do there and in the area. Austin is great.
“Great Texas Resort”
I stayed 3 nights as the Lakeway Resort and was satisfied overall. Had one of the best spa's a person could ask for, I got the 80 minute Colorado River Rock massage and it was A++. Had a nice locker room and lounge for the spa. The pool was good as well, complete with a swim up bar - I did wish they would have had one pool that was deeper then 3.5 feet. The rooms were very comfortable, the balcony was nice as well. There were some spots on the floors that I marked down for - there were several and noticeable enough house keeping should have taken care of them. Speaking of house keeping, they did not take the laundry that was sit out or completely restock the towels - leaving no floor towel and only one on the in-shower hanger. The restaurant was great. Room service was a little slow, gave me a 30-45 min delivery time and called me some 40 minutes later to say they were out of what I wanted. In short: Comfortable rooms, great spa and pools, great drinks and food. The people service could have been better. I do plan to go back again!
“Best staycation in Texas”
Lakeway Resort & Spa was a great place to stay on Lake Travis. We enjoyed the incredible outdoor pool w/ swim up bar and the courteous staff. The Concierge crew will go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of during your stay. We can't wait to go back!
