“Affordable and Comfortable”

I come to Cleveland often for business and have found this hotel to be well located, comfortable and affordable.

“Clean and Comfortable”

The hotel itself was quite old, but was in good condition. The room was clean and comfortable and service was very good. Price was very reasonable. I would go back there as it is in the center of the town where I need to be.

I extremely recommend this hotel. The service was great, in a quiet neighbourhood, breakfast was satisfying and all employees were very nice and polite. If you want to come to Cleveland, chose this hotel..it is just 5 to 7 minutes away from downtown!

“Absolutely charming”

Once you arrive at the hotel, you are greeted at the front desk by a very warm and friendly staff who is ready to explain everything to you. Not sure about something? Feel free to ask, they will not give you "the look," nor will they beat around the bush, they are very knowledgeable about their business. The room was neat and clean with a certain charm about it. It felt very much like home. Housekeeping did come by at least once during my stay and refreshed what needed to be refreshed. The staff was glad to offer assistance about the surrounding neighborhood and attractions in downtown Cleveland. Check-out was just as straight forward as check-in was, no issues whatsoever - which comes in handy, no hidden surprises there! For an out-of town/state guest, they did an awesome job to make me feel welcome. The only draw back was the distance from the hotel to downtown Cleveland and the availability of bus passes in the neighborhood. If you will be traveling to Lakewood, make sure to rent a car or to have a taxi budget as well as for tips! This will come in handy!

“Fabric Softner”

How pleased I was to enjoy a SOFT towel after a nice relaxing shower in there recently remolded bathrooms. Overall the room was average, but clean and comfortable.The wireless internet is free and had a strong single on the second floor. The hotel is located in very safe area with many bars and restaurants near. Downtown is only 10 minutes away. Twist Social Club is located on the @ Clifton Blvd and 117th a great place for drinks (Mixed clientele ) My Friends located on Detroit Ave, (a few blocks over) is a great 24 hour Family style diner and check out South Side Restaurant located in Ohio City

“Great buy”

Lakewood is a relatively hip area and the hotel's close enough to downtown. The carpets in the hallway don't look great but the rooms are spotless and the AC works. Free parking and wireless internet too.

“Great Location!”

Located only 5 miles from downtown Cleveland and 1/2 mile from Lake Erie, you are close to all kinds of amenities. Surrounded by huge, old mansions, you can get a great Irish meal and draft beer as well as sunset walks by the lake. Highly recommend the location and service!

“Good enough!”

Hotel manager told me the information of good restaurant. That restaurant was good!

“Very nice hotel”

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was really nice. Only things missing were an ice machine and a mini fridge in the room would have been great. Otherwise it was very nice!

“Good Older Motel”

This is an older motel that is in good condition. The rooms are in very good condition and have been renovated in the last few years. The staff were very good and accomodating. The free continental breakfast had a good variety of pastries, fruits, and juices along with coffee.The only complaint was the neighboring rooms were very noisy.Upstairs people would come in around 2AM. They sounded liked a herd of elephants waking around.
