Very quiet area of town and easy to get to

Posted Dec 22, 2014
Pros: It was a nice hotel for the price and quiet area
Location: It fit in close to where we were visiting
We had just an over night stay for a visit but it was easy to find and the street it was on was quiet and the room was fine. The staff gave us good suggestions on places for dinner and was very helpful with directions. Nice place

I'd stay there again

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: As stated above -- a modestly priced room, a good night's sleep, and pleasant surroundings.
Location: Quiet residential neighborhood, easy walk to Edgewater Park, several drugstores and fast food outlets within 4 blocks.
I needed to visit inlaws over Thanksgiving. I picked this Travelodge because it was located in an area near a park with proximity to and view of the lake. I had a pleasant morning run on a quiet street and through a park with a great view of the Cleveland cityscape. The clerk who checked us in was extremely friendly and pleasant. I got what I wanted from my stay -- a modestly priced room, a good night's sleep, and pleasant surroundings.

Great hotel!

Stayed for 3 nights, great location in a good neighborhood, room was nice size, bed comfy, everything was clean and staff were mostly really friendly. Also close enough to public transport into the city. Considering the price it was amazing value for money!

Good for the price

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: The price and location.
Cons: Extra blankets, fix the fan in the bathroom, larger bathroom counter.
Location: Lakewood is a cool area of Cleveland with several interest vintage shops and restaurants, and beautiful houses nearby.
Clean and basic, but very small room. For the price, this hotel was fine. There are no amenities but the heat worked well and the front desk is very helpful.

Would not recommend to anyone

Posted Oct 29, 2014
The first room we were put in the bathroom had not been cleaned. There was hair on the toilet seat and counter. We were moved to a different room that had dirty linen, again hair, only this time in the bed. We were told by the unhelpful counter person that those were the only two rooms they had. When we asked for a refund he told us we booked through Expedia, a third party, so in would have to contact them directly. As it was 10:30pm and we had been driving all day with no other options, we stayed in the first room and i cleaned the bathroom myself as there there were no housekeeping staff working at that time. The owner still hadnt arrived by the time we checked out. All they could offer was for us to call later to see ifn he was in.

The hotel was close to the area we wanted to explore. It is located near Lake Erie and a very nice park. The room was small, but very clean , with newer decor. The breakfast was good, too. The price was right as well.

Boutique Hotel? Not Really

Posted Oct 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The original room reserved for me was quite musty. Luckily, Joseph at the front desk (great customer minded employee) managed to find me another room. It was quite cramped, the desk was very small, the bathroom was tiny! This very tired Travel Lodge is in the process of being renovated and while they appear to be trying, it is still a very tired Travel Lodge. It's a bit overpriced so I'll look for other options next time I'm in the area.
