convenient and reasonable

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The room
Cons: The parking lot, lobby and hallway cleanliness. The carpets in the upstairs area desperately needed to be vacuumed.
Location: Lots of local restaurants and downtown Cleveland is a 5 minute drive if not during rush hour.
This is a good place to stay for easy access to Cleveland. The added bonus is that it is in a quiet neighborhood

A good choice close to Cleveland

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Better rates than the city centre
Cons: The hotel needs a bit of a facelift
Location: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 6 miles away
The hotel is very tired in terms of decor and the outside, it is not very close to places to eat. The staff were helpful and it was a lot cheaper than staying in Cleveland. OK for a 1 night stop.

Nice hotel, great location. Older, but updated.

Pros: Clean, quiet, updated, nice residential location.
Cons: Interior and exterior doors need painting/updating.
Location: Lakewood, West Side Market (a must!), Ohio City/Franklin Square, Happy Dog Restaurant
My sister and I were in town for a family visit and this hotel was a perfect option. It is older, but very clean. Travelodge is owned by Wyndham and it shows. Beds were very comfortable, room nicely painted/decorated, and the bathroom was completely updated. This was a VERY clean room and I am quite particular in that area. This room had the quietest room air conditioner I have ever experienced in a hotel room. Most of the time they are very noisy and hard to regulate. Not the case here. Space is a bit tight, but if you don't plan to spend much time in it, it's fine. The hotel lobby was nicely updated and the staff pleasant. Most Cleveland hotels are either around the airport or downtown, which is very inconvenient if you have business or family in the Lakewood area. The only update still needed is to the doors, which could use a coat of paint. Parking is free, which is also a big plus in a large city. We will definitely stay here again.

Pros: Staff was great. Location is wonderful. price was good
Good price. Beds are really soft. Too much light around all the door edges and at the window. Plenty of hot water for the shower, tho the tub wouldn't hold water for a bath.

Pros: Beds were comfortable. Room clean.
Location: Walked to nearby restaurant.
We just needed a place to stay overnight to get the morningt train. Worked fine. Checkin was easy and checkout. Room was corner and fairly spacious. bathroom had been remodeled recently. Overall, worked out well.

Close to the beach.

Cons: The hotel should be fully renovated.
Room size and condition was not pleasing. I won't recommend this hotel to a family, for a couple it's fine.
