Inexpensive but nice.

My friend and I were helping some local ranchers with a fencing project south of town and located this motel. It's unlikely that you will find a lower cost hotel in Lamar, we paid $55 a night plus tax. That being said the lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, the air conditioning was cold, beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. Can't ask for much more than that :).

Older motel.

Posted May 27, 2014
Location: Middle of nowhere in SE Colorado.
Small room but had a fridge and microwave. Felt crowded for 2 adults and 2 kids. Not too bad for an overnight stay. Quick in and out as it only has one level

I'd do it again

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: Good overall experience.
Location: Not a whole lot to do in Lamar, CO but OK to catch some sleep while on the road.
Checked in late, owners very nice and helpful. Older, decent shape motel at a great price.

Clean rooms

Posted Dec 24, 2013
Pros: Clean and friendly
Cons: The rooms could use a little updating.
My husband travels for living so he spends alot of time staying in motels. This one has clean rooms and very quite. The free wi-fi worked even in the back. Would stay there again.

Very Pleasant and quiet

Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: It was kinda funky but clean.
Cons: The pillows were too tall.
We were very pleased with our hotel room. We were in the back building which was a ways off the main road. It was much quieter back there and we didn't hear any road noise. The room was clean and comfortable and the decor was somewhat retro. Kinda cool and homey. We enjoyed sitting on the recliner in our room and the swinging lawn chair in the front yard. Great place to stay for the money. BTW, they did offer coffee and sweet rolls for breakfast.

Nice design. Just only one trouble: the tube in bathroom had trouble and I could not use it.

Great value.

Cons: Parking for my large truck
It was a nice cheap hotel, convenient to check in and out. The bed was comfy, and the room was clean. We had trouble trying to figure out how to turn the heater on tho.
