“Simple and clean”

we had our dog with us and needed a pet friendly motel near Lubbock...this was good....not great, but basics were fine.

“Don't count on sleeping in”

I was there for two nights. The room was adequate for my needs. However, there were significant problems. TV reception was poor. The clerk gave me a map of the town (a small town at that) but he couldn't find the hotel on the map so I could check relative distance to my destination! The worst thing was the maid banged on my door early though I had the Do not disturb sign in the lock! When I jumped out of bed to answer, I charleyhorsed my leg that still is giving me problems weeks afterwards. The maid even returned every half hour to LOOK through the window to see if I had left. I found this totally unnerving.
