Not a Quiet PlacePosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Location to where I needed to be
Whoever built this hotel must have been on another planet. The front rooms face the motorway so are subject to traffic noise, I was very pleased with our room when we entered it as it was at the rear of the hotel. I soon found out that every lorry that entered the car park had to drive down a service road that passed every bedroom at the rear of the hotel. Having heavy goods vehicles driving past 10 yards away from your bedroom window does not make for a good nights sleep. Other than that I could not really fault the place.

Day's Inn Hamilton ServicesPosted Aug 18, 2014
Would not recommend this hotel after our experience. Pile of dirty bedding in the hallway (3pm), room tatty and bed linen had dirty marks. Stayed 5 minutes which was just long enough to book an alternative room at Hamilton Holiday Inn Express. Lost the cost of the hotel room (£40) but would not have considered staying on

Basic rooms ideal for breaking up a long journeyPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: The bathroom especially needed some tender loving care as it was showing the signs of age but was clean and everything worked.
Location: Close to the motorway for our onward journey.
A basic room with everything you need for a one night stop over on a long journey. Clean and tidy, free Wi-Fi, television and kettle. Everything was clean but perhaps a little tired. You get what you pay for and this was cheap but convenient.

Excellent location for Commonwealth GamesPosted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Location. Value for money.
Cons: Decor etc.
Location: Easy for Glasgow, Stirling Castle. Nr train station.
Good value for money, cheap and cheerful. Everything we needed, fan for the hot nights, hairdryer. Lovely hot water. Ideal location for getting to Eurocentral shuttle for games. Room not the best of decor but it was comfortable and would definately stay at a Days Inn again.

Good base for GlasgowPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Good base
Cons: The locks on the doors. If you had handles on the outside of the doors you could close these quietly.
Location: Next to strathclyde park and lots of sports facilities
Room clean and serviced daily but unfortunately it was very noisy at night. Doors have to slam to shut properly and these can be heard right down the corridor. Not recommended if you want a good nights sleep

Staff brilliant-shame about the roomPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: The Staff that we talked to were very nice and accommodating both in the hotel and the restaurant.
Cons: Everything- except the staff-perhaps more staff would be a good thing
Location: Lots of things to do and see, nice countryside and the town was walking distance. The location was perfect beside the motorway.
The sink, bath and toilet were clean. The bathroom had cracked and broken tiles that needed to be replaced but the bathroom as a whole could do with a really good clean and the bedroom which was a good size was in the same condition as the bathroom-it could do with a good clean to get rid of cobwebs etc. I know that spiders do make webs but it would be good to remove them every so often. The sheets on the bed looked nice and clean, but they smelt of cigarettes. I have no objection to people smoking but to a non-smoker, it's not pleasant especially in a non-smoking room, the sofa needs a deep clean, not sure what that smelt of!

Comfortable stay at Days Inn HamiltonPosted May 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was a very comfortable one night stay at Days Inn Hamilton. A basic spacious room with tv, hair drying, tea and coffee facility, free wi-fi. comfortable bed and clean sheets. The price of £42 per night did not include a breakfast. The hygiene and cleanliness are acceptable. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would recommend to friends. The reception is not staffed.24 hours
