have been to hotel twice now for short breaks
what can I say, good food, good service, nothing to much trouble
and the entertainment is excellent for a small hotel, even acts that I had seen before were just as good.
what a lovely couple, (family) daughter sings as well, brilliantly.
small extras like chocs and small gifts during the festive season, what a lovely thought!

We booked the hotel at short notice that morning to stop for 2 nights,we were greeted when we arrived and felt immediately comfortable.nothing was too much trouble and we only had to ask.the rooms were clean tidy and spacious, the owners gave us tips on where was best to eat and take the children and we were given vouchers to use for the attractions if we wanted to. Breakfast was delicious and again we had everything we could want.
We have already recomended the hotel to friends.

Just started working at Altham and was looking for a comfortable place to stay. Tried a couple of others and then the Avenue and my search is over. From the easy parking and check-in to being shown to your comfy room (standard double on my first stay), the experience is faultless. The standard double room was cosy and the bed really comfortable and it was very quiet in the room. Bathroom was roomy and was fitted with a shower but no bath.
I had dinner the first night and the waitress service was top notch though the kitchen service was rather slow. Internet is complimentary and free and works great (almost a first for complimentary internet in my experience!).
Breakfast service was great as was the freshly cooked food.
Ate in again the second night and had the pork belly main (to die for) and the kitchen service was much better this time round).
Check-out was fast and easy as well.
Already booked for my next visit to Altham.
