This hotel was booked for its convenience from the M6, as an overnight stay on a journey to Scotland.
Easy to find, good looking and well maintained as you arrive. The surprise of seeing a Fire engine in a glass box out the front, was amazing. A little local history for you to read about.
Didn't have to wait long at reception before being checked in by a lovely, friendly young lady.
Room was excellent. Clean, tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed! Well stocked supplies in bathroom and wardrobe...tea/coffee making facilities in the room but Room Service proved to be very helpful.
I'd love to go again, can't recommend it highly enough.

Two nights in Burnley in December isn't exactly gripping but this hotel made the experience very pleasant. Modern bedroom wing comfortable and clean with high standard fittings. Basis of hotel old mansion really well looked after and attractive. Staff first class - real northern welcome. Super breakfast, which is cooked for you, not a buffet with soggy sausages and flaccid bacon.
Overall first class and recommended if you are in the area. Don't be put off by Burnley the surrounding country is fabulous.
