Had the most magical little holiday ever and the hotel contributed to that. It was yards away from the seafront and Penny and Ray were very friendly and let us take food up to our room and equally saved us massive hassle by saving us a parking space outside the Hotel. Couldn't ask for a better service. Penny's breakfast was fabulous and she kept the hotel beautifully clean. Our room was very cosy and warm and the hotel just generally had a homely feel to it. Loved it!! thank you Penny and Ray for a great stay!! Highly recommended. Cathy and Ben x

Pros: We were reserved a car parking space which was very kind.
Location: Great location, central to tower and pleasure beach.

Great LocationPosted Jul 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Castleton Hotel is in a fantastic location, situated in the heart of Blackpool’s best attractions. It is a clean and well-presented B&B, in particular the lounge and breakfast area. Ray and Penny were extremely welcoming, and were happy to go out of their way to make our stay as easy and as comfortable as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I recently stayed at the castleton as a last minute decision to stay a night in Blackpool. The owners ray and penny were very welcoming and friendly. We enquired if we could leave our bags at reception as we were in the area a few hours earlier than check in time, and then kindly told us we could have our room there and then as it was ready. Room was clean, lovely comfy bed, all the basics required. Breakfast next morning was great too. Will definitely stay here again. Many thanks xx

Pleasant stay!Posted Apr 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
We went to Blackpool to see Simple Minds at the Winter Gardens & stayed at the Castleton for one night in their superior double room, which was a lovely big, bright & airy room. The owners were very welcoming & the breakfast was lovely! All in all a great stay & good value for money :-)
