The out side of the property could do with a good clean and painting. A few staff members in the restaurant need retraining in customer Service.the bar staff are amazing all lovely

Very friendly staff, evening entertainment was very good.But by far the best thing about the Claremont is the Magnificent array of food they provide.Hand on heart it was the best food I've ever had. We went All inclusive & the choice of alcohol was really good. Would stay here again Definitely.

We had such a brilliant stay we extended it. Our room was very small when we arrived but the staff on reception changed it straight away. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is excellent and plenty of it. We had stayed here before covid . This was our first time since then . We strongly recommend this hotel. Friendly helpful staff. It’s all inclusive and there is entertainment every night. Book into this hotel and have a great time. We will definitely be booking again. Absolutely fantastic stay

Hotel was good but too busy , not enough seating in bar area and only one bar . Food ok but not great . Toilets are downstairs so not convenient Entertainment was great and drinks very good

Lovely stay at Claremont again but…
We stayed in a lovely side sea view room. Looked like it had been newly decorated. Bathroom is clean but really old fashioned and trying to get in and out of the bath to have a shower is scary. The one thing that was disappointing this stay was the gluten free meal for my husband who is coeliac. What was supposed to be lamb Henry was cubes of processed lamb looked a bit like dog food to be honest. The restaurant manager who in the past has been excellent did say that the lamb had been cut into cubes and offered a substitute but when it came it looked awful. My husband who is not a fussy eater sent it back because it was freezing cold. When it came back the meat was lukewarm although the rest was hot. He couldn’t eat it and told the young waiter who himself said it looked awful. It’s a shame as he has been so well looked after in the past

Overall stay was good but one or 2 issues Food really good - only problem was half hour delay on 1st night for main course Entertainment was ok - terry cotta excellent as usual But Lennie Anderson wasn't funny - we left when he started swearing in front of kids - said fxxk off then apologised He also took mickey out of a lady with a walking frame - lady was upset and said she wouldn't return to Claremont

Great Hotel
Great Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. The food is very good I just love the buffett breakfast. I have stayed here quite a few times and never had any problems. Shame the swimming pool as been out of action since Covid, I do miss not having this facility. On the whole a very nice hotel little bit dated in some areas but clean and well mangaged.

Great time again lovely hotel. The only downfall was the entertainment on the evening the vocalists were not very good ,not up to the standed as before . But lovelt weekend .

I requested a low level room due to being disabled, I got a room on the third floor which was quite a walk up and down stairs this was quite a struggle for me would of been bette close to a lift. The room was also very hot which was uncomfortable

Nice couple of days
Food was good choice, you have to get your own coffee and toast now, but not a problem. Had a nice big room, but the beds are in need of new mattresses. Entertainment each night, nice to see two new singers. I wish people would not sit in the entertainment room if they just want to talk. The sofa’s in the window near the bar has seen better days. But still has a good time.

Got the last available room and it showed. Clean and tidy but dated and uncomfortable. Needed to put 1 foot in the bath to fit on the loo.

The hotel is amazing value for money brilliant entertainment both evenings both comedians so funny ,food brilliant only downside toilets could be situated on the same level as entertainment as it is not great having to go downstairs to use especially after alchohol .Our room was a bit dated but I understand that the hotel is doing rooms up gradually overall would stay again hopefully in the future toilets be made available upstairs

Two night stay
This is our second visit this year. Nice welcome, lovely food, plenty of choice. Lovely views from seating area, mind some could do with being replaced. Bedroom small, but had everything you needed. We had twin beds this time, the mattress and pillows really need replacing, glad we weren’t staying longer. Handy for town. Bus, trams and taxis stop outside hotel, but not far to walk. Booked through third party and Choose to pay at property, but they took my money off my card before we arrived.

Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. Rooms very clean. Food- large variety -option of chef specials or a wide range of buffet options. Entertainment brilliant - a comedian & singer on each night- all of a high standard. Wide range of drinks on duty free. Highly recommend- will definitely be back

Fantastic food ,great room very clean,good entertainment. Chairs very hard in the entertainment room,only one lift and the toilets are downstairs not good if you have walking difficulties.

Hotel is old but noticed some new carpet in places so obviously trying to keep it up to scratch. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Food is brilliant also my husband is coeliac and the Portuguese restaurant manager is great. Hotel provided a good choice for him. Only thing was no scrambled egg in morning. All our party commented on this. Our major gripe was we were very early on Friday night and just managed to get in concert room but on the Saturday it was 8 o clock and no room. Seeing as the entertainment is part of the reason we go we were very disappointed. Don’t know if any more tables can be put in the room

Nice hotel, handy for centre, and free parking. Had room 110, no sleep until entertainment finished, seen better. Food good as always. Not many non alcoholic drinks on all inclusive.

Lovely food limited drinks on the all inclusive however there is something for everyone Rooms needed a deep clean, crumbs grime on surfaces etc mattress needed renewing would have liked memory foam but this is down to personal choice.

Enjoyed our stay mostly
We overall had a lovely time, food was excellent, service and entertainment was very good too, better than we expected Lunch was disappointing for me, only fish and chips, no alternative, I'm eating a more healthy diet on slimming world but there must be other people who can't eat it if vege or vegan etc. I wasn't looking for a big choice but a salad would have been good. So after going back for lunch I had then to go elsewhere. Rooms and corridors very tired but after no revenue in covd that is understandable We had a bay view and was lovely, not huge room but that wasn't an issue. Plenty of hot water although a 2 night stay and no maid service on a Saturday means no maid service at all. All things considered we would return though
