I did not stay. The guy there had his own ideas.

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
The guy I saw had his own ideas which meant I could not stay there and had to find alternative accommodation even though I had prepaid Edward Hotel last November. He wanted to see my passport even though I am English and travelling in England.I naturally did not have it. I do not have a driving license. Therefore he would not let me stay!!

Great Hotel

Posted Dec 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice hotel great location close to nightlife and shopping. Room just basic but very comfortable bed and clean and nice big TV. Owner very friendly even when mistake over booking, double bed instead of twin, this was changed straight away. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to this hotel who just wants a basic hotel for a good price.

Best weekend stay!

Posted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: Lovely clean room, brilliant food and amazing host
Cons: Can't fault our stay in any way
Location: Very close to beach, and close to main attractions
I stayed with my partner in this hotel for two nights and we both had breakfast both mornings. The room we stayed in was a great size and the on suit was a great size as well, it was also very clean and the bed was very comfortable too. The price for the two night stay was brilliant considering we stayed Friday to Sunday. The breakfast each morning was fantastic with not only a full English breakfast but toast and a variety on cereals to choose from, along with fresh orange and a pot of tea of coffee, all for just £5 each!!! The bar prices were excellent and with a variety of snacks to choose from including chips and burgers, not only did they taste delicious but they were a great price too. Stuart, who owns the hotel, was an outstanding host and myself and my partner will most certainly be staying again in the near future. We really cannot fault our stay what so ever and we are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much

excellent no frills room, lovely landlord

Posted Oct 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
there was a mix up with breakfast not being included on the booking site, and we had been missed when landlord contacted expected guests prior to arrival but was very apologetic, polite and friendly, tried to get it sorted out while we were there, which unfortunately didnt happen. however, breakfast for two of us was £10, with an excellent cooked breakfast and cereal and toast, orange juice, tea. the little on site bar seemed very reasonable, and if you did want extras (tea coffe etc in room) it was charged literally at cost price (tea 15p for example). limited parking nearby but larger car park round corner at £13 for 24 hours and hotel very close to tower and other attractions. room and bathroom was lovely and clean, bed comfortable
