Nice stay with the odd touch neededPosted May 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Gleadhill farm is situated in a stunning location with perfectly groomed gardens and fantastic views over stunning countryside. I was booked into a double room with ensuite for two nights. The rooms were clean and in good repaire with anything you needed. The only problem I had was that there was no lock on the door. Due to past experiences i felt a little uncomfortable and therefore did not sleep that well. Breakfast was cracking, cooked to order and a great deal of hot and cold items to choose from

Clean, quiet, tucked away, excellentPosted Feb 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Lovely B&B, very clean, and very welcoming owners. Location is slightly tricky to get to from the M6 but well worth it compared to the average en-route Travelodge etc - this is miles better. Proper breakfast the next morning too. I'll definitely be coming back.

Sublime marmaladePosted Oct 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were greeted warmly and shown to our room, which was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good; the home-made marmalade is sublime. Highly recommended.

Lovely place in beautiful gardens.Posted Sep 19, 2013
Location: Quiet, perfect for us to visit friends and family nearby. Noticed in the visitors book a number of Australians have stayed here being so handy for th
Gleadhill farm was my husbands family farm until they sold in 1966 so it was in some ways a strange experience to go back there. The owners were thrilled when we explained the reason we had gone for a nights stay and wanted to know anything about the building my husband could tell them. He could hardly recognise the place of his childhood. The owners have transformed it very sympathetically and to a high standard . It amused us to spend the night in a beautiful room and ensuite over what he had known as the tack room and paraffin store. Angela is a perfect hostess the beds are lovely ,the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast everything you could wish. We was visiting from our home in Australia and a visit to the restored farmhouse will be a treasured memory . Thank you Angela

Lovely hotel in a quiet locationPosted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: Quiet with extensive grounds to wander around in
Cons: Nothing obvious
Location: We were only there one night, so did not enquire of the local facilities
We found the hostess charming, the room clean with the availability of fresh milk for the odd tea or coffee. We chose it because it was conveniently located off the motorway on our trip from Somerset to Mid Scotland.
