"Brilliant value, gorgeous location, fantastic room size and big bathroom. The food was delicious with beautiful atmospheric dining room. The staff though set this place apart, from reception, to cleaners, bar and dining room. they were all absolutely exceptional- we had an early departure on the Saturday and the chef and waiting staff came in early to ensure we had breakfast - simply wow!!"

"It was a lovely place to stay with a dog for a couple of days visiting family. Very clean, very comfortable and helpful that we could eat there."

"Hotel was ok, quite a nice restaurant, the rooms were ok albeit a bit dated although traditional. The beds were ok, not that comfortable to be honest. A bit hard. The hot water in the shower was intermittent and it must be shared with others as during the shower it went scolding hot then back to normal without changing the taps. The restaurant must have been busy as 3-4 items on the food menu were out of stuck, plus low on wines too. Bit of refurbishment throughout the hotel would be good. Friendly staff throughout.
