A lovely and cosy BB. The proprietor was really generous in allowing me to use the room and shower when I had finished my race. Would definitely recommend it to my friends and stay there again.

Last minute bookingPosted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: Quiet area
Cons: Tiny bathroom and old dated decor and furnishing
Location: Quiet area , 5 minutes walk from funny girls venue . Not much parking on the road.
It's very dated, windows want a good clean carpets need replacing in the bedroom as they were stained. Bedding was nice and clean and the beds were lovely and comfortable. It was just a last minute booking and was reasonably cheap for New Year's Eve. Would try somewhere else next time.

Lovely. Small, but perfectly formed. Near to all, but far enough removed to be peaceful. Excellent cooked breakfast. Immaculately clean. Very nice helpful owners. Enjoyed our weekend immensley.

A Cracking Guest House on Blackpool's North ShorePosted Apr 27, 2011 on Hotels.com
A lovely clean, tidy guest house with a warm and friendly welcome from George & Richard. Breakfast choice is either Continental with a full range of cereals, toast and fruit juice or for just £2 you can upgrade to a Full English with Egg, Bacon, Sausage and Beans or Tomatoes and come with unlimited filter coffee or a pot of tea. There's free Wi-fi and an 'internet-ready' PC is available in the lounge/breakfast room (no charge) - I needed to visit a relative whilst staying at Grampian House and Richard advised me on buses and taxis and my trip a lot less stressful than it might have been - many thanks guys ! The Guest House is ideally placed for Funny Girls, Mardi Gras and the North Pier being located at the end of Dickson Road not far from Blackpool North Rail Station. Parking is possible outside, as fortunately this stretch of Pleasent Street is not residents only, but be prepared for a short walk and a couple of flights of stairs to reach your room if your not lucky to find a space outside on the street - Discounts are available for longer stays of 5 days or more so don't be afraid to ask for a discount if you're planning a break or long weekend this Summer or Autumn to see Blackpool's Northern Lights.
