Stay in this hotel frequently and always been very happy. My last stay had too ask for towels twice before eventually got them on 2nd day. 2 staff members and not a single apology

Absolute terrible stay. Radiator broken, wasn’t able to turn the temperature down. Far too hot. Door handle fell off on the inside had to get maintenance to fix it. Card stopped working on the outside so had to get maintenance to fix it. Couldn’t ring reception from my friends phone as it was broken and no dial tone.

Easy check in if a bit late, standard room, good pillows, problem is you can hear everything there is no sound proof whatsoever m, felt like I was in next doors room, heating didnt work in there either? Went downstairs explained, to be honest the guy was amazing and put me in a family room upstairs, a lot quieter but the window had a gap in you could hear the win coming through! Heating worked so was ok but place needs to look at a few problems

This hotel is definitely worth a stay , lovely staff , rooms are great had a sea view , huge bed . Nothing I didn’t like , visiting again in 3 days time and the hotel have let us have the same room 508 👍 best hotel 👍

The not so grand hotel
3 nights, nothing Grand I’m afraid, dared hotel, poor room condition. Room not cleaned once, had to go and get our own towels. Due to the condition I did not then want to use the leisure facilities. Food and drink expensive so avoided. Car park expensive. Pictures on websites do not match the actual hotel. Cost was £140 for the 3 nights so was not expecting the grand, though I do expect cleanliness at least.

This hotel would have been top class in its hay day. Nowadays, showing signs of wear but still embelishing touches of its previous glory. Cheap and cheerful - priced appropriately - just don’t get your hopes up too much. It comes into a ‘it’ll do’ category. Very disappointed gym and pool was closed.

Good basic hotel, far nicer than most in Blackpool
Great location on the sea front, with on site parking. The hotel is clean and tidy with a good breakfast buffet. Public areas are fairly smart with friendly staff. Our room was very dated although everything worked. Our friends were given a renovated room on floor 7 which was much nicer. Overall a good choice, far nicer than most Blackpool hotels.

Excellent stay. lovely clean, warm and spacious room with comfy bed. Friendly staff with the check-in process easy as can be. Nice sea view too with the only downer being that the bathroom perhaps needs a bit of a spruce up, but nothing major tbh.

Was disappointed with the times the lesiure facilities was open for the size of the hotel. Really wanted to be able to go in the steam room after 6pm to relax at the end of the day and go to the gym before 10am at the weekend. Breakfast way overpriced for the star rating and age of the hotel

The grande doesn’t stand for grand anymore I understand that it was mid- week But no entertainment only staff were cleaning! Perhaps it is better in summer! Room was clean but the bed - I compare to sleeping on a bench somewhere where I did not want to be! Broken window hinge with 40 mph winds- not pleasant ! Happy anniversary wife!!! Could have been better!!!

Some poor elements in staying here
The hotel is in the standards of 1990’s, which is ok. However I did find aspects that were low compared to other hotels. The receptionist that served us was very poor and need training on communication skills as well as not to keep walking off and going something else whilst dealing with our check in. The beds are awful, lumpy and uncomfortable. If you wish to use the pool or gym - you have to pay extra and book a slot. In the good side the common areas were nice and comfortable and staff in the bar was really helpful and friendly.

Grand Hotel.
We was booked into another hotel, as this hotel wasn’t available. but the room was far from ideal, so I noticed that the Grand hotel had became available.This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel and always found it faultless, so to be honest, this is my first choice hotel in Blackpool. Breakfast was excellent. Will always book this hotel.

Nice hotel, stayed in one of the newer rooms 232, wallpaper coming away right round the top, wooden headboard was filthy, lollipop stick on the floor that shocked me the cleaner didn't see, sofa bit stained, facilities were amazing, i would stay again.

Reasonable hotel.
Overall, the public areas of the hotel were fine. Food and beverages were decent enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were reasonable, if in need of a little touch up, but the bathrooms are really what let this hotel down. They are somewhat dated and in need of refurbishment and more attention to the cleaning of them is really required. ( Also the shower curtain in the accessible bathroom/wetroom is too short and literally everything in the room gets soaked plus the drainage/grate under the shower could do with more regular cleaning.) Parking costs £7 a day but this is waived if you have a blue badge. We didn't use the pool or gym so we cannot comment. Fairly priced.

Good Price Good Location Needs Updating
Good location Good Price Pet friendly but in need of an update I stayed here when it was owned by Hilton many years ago and it was in a different league! But obviously not every company has the spending power of global company. Pool and sauna closed too early on a weekday and was hard to get in unless you got there before 4 but Chuck out at 4.30! The room on second floor definAtely needed some money spent on it with eighties bathroom suite and a creaky bed that had obviously seen a lot of action but not when you want to watch Married at first sight in peace? The lights at Blackpool are great but the area lacks money and it’s sad to see but rubbish and dog poo left on the pavement there is no excuse but in line with deprived areas that don’t careless of there surroundings but the hotel can’t be blamed for any of that such a shame

The property was tatty, paper peeling off the walls. No entertainment although it was advertised there was. Good point was the breakfast and the pool area looked good.
