Nice hotel at the quieter end of Blackpool prom.

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Sea view magnificent. Easy and plentiful parking. Close to tram stops.
Cons: Wi-fi difficult to connect. Breakfast queues very long. Would have liked to have been able to open the window for fresh air - it was screwed shut .
Location: Fifteen minute stroll into town centre. Across the road from the beach.
Room immaculate. Comfortable bed. Staff helpful and pleasant.

Good location And comfortable hotel

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The staff, facilities and food. Every room has a seaview.
Cons: The bar area was a bit dull and lacked appeal.
Location: Great location and near to a tram stop. Right on the prom and not far to walk to the town centre.
Despite being a single traveller i felt welcomed and safe staying in this hotel. Although functional and businesslike the hotel was bright, clean and pleasant with very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable with everything i needed and the bed was huge and comfy.

Nice hotel, pricey food.

Some room decor was a bit tired in places and the window seemed to be broken as it wouldn't open. A few more plus sockets would have been nice too. The food, while excellent, was very expensive, almost £30 for 2 club sandwiches plus the mandatory room service charge. Other than that, our stay was great we really enjoyed it!

Stayed in better Hilton hotels. Reception, bar & dining areas lovely but room could have been better - quite basic for a Hilton & the price paid. Pool & gym facilities were disappointing as both were very small. Breakfast though was extremely good with plenty to choose from.

Hotel

The hotel itself was clean cozy but dated, the room was fresh but the beds were not comfortable. However the staff were friendly and helpful despite the high prices for room services and the suprise extra fee for parking. However the experience itself was amazing.

Great stay after a busy day around Blackpool

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Facilities and staff helpfulness
Cons: A couple of aspects of the rooms are tired
Location: It's Blackpool - there's lots to do !
For our short stay in Blackpool, we wanted a great location to relax in the evenings and still have the facilities available should we want more time around the hotel. The Hilton was an excellent choice. The hotel facilities are great and the dining facilities are wonderful. OK there were one or two bits of the room that are a little tired, but that didn't affect anything. By far the best part of the stay was the staff, at Reception, at the Dining Room and particularly down at the swimming pool. NOTHING was too much trouble and they were eager to assist without being asked. So a big thank you to all at the Hilton

Disappointing.

I booked a room for 3 adults and one bed wasn't a bed at all, it was a very uncomfortable thin settee with the cushions removed which was about 5 and a half foot long with a duvet folded in half and a pillow placed on it, I ended up on that and am 5 foot 10 so my feet were hanging over the end. Fortunately we were at a wedding at another hotel so didn't spend much time in the room which was overlooking the back car park and a car rental establishment. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room but the milk was out of date and full of lumps.
