very dissapointedPosted Aug 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
i read the reviews of this hotel and it sounded very good so i booked it .what a let down the room was very small. tv very small. holes in one of the sheets. frayed towels.the shower was useless the water trickled out.one small tablet of soap.the beds were very uncomfortable hardly got any sleep.looked like second hand door had been fitted on bathroom with paint splashes on it .radiator in bathroom was rusty.the only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast it was very good.this place gives blackpool a bad name it is no wonder people go abroad. come on people get your act together or people will stay away

Good traditional English seaside family-run hotelPosted Jun 4, 2012
Pros: Friendly and helpful family-run
Cons: No air conditioning in the room - not something you often need in Northern England, but nice to have when you want it.
Location: Great location, overlooking the sea, walking distance to the town center
Very friendly and helpful staff, had a nice room with a sea view. Traditional English Breakfast was great. Location was reasonable walk to the town centre and far enough away from the noisy pubs and clubs. Free parking was a plus
