A great little B&BPosted Jul 20, 2011
Although our room was small, it suited our needs for a one-night stay, with generous tea and coffee supplies, a nice shower, and a comfy bed. We needed to be away early in the morning, and our host changed the breakfast schedule to help us out. The breakfast was huge, and perfectly cooked. The hotel's location is a bit out of the centre, but gave us the chance of a 5 minute tram ride. Overall, a great little b&b with friendly hosts happy to be flexible to ensure our stay was really enjoyable.

Great clean hotel and great servicePosted Jul 13, 2010 on Hotels.com
Parking in Blackpool is normally a problem but with this hotel being in the north end, the parking is normally not a problem. Welcome on arrival was good and very friendly so no issues there. Room was small as you would expect but perfectly suitable. The room was also very clean and bathroom also very clean. Breakfast is to die for and I cant speak any better of the owners. Very friendly and cant do enough for you.

when i booked a room at the smart hotel i thought it had a lot to live up to given the top reviews it has, well it was even better than they saw. steve and arleene are such wonderful hosts.when we arrived we was served complimentry tea and biscuits and the cooked breakfast was the best ive ever known. but best of all was the kind help and advice they gave about blackpool and the lake district and where the best illuminations are. the hotel is situated in a lovely area of blackpool with free parking and only a minutes walk from the tram stop. all in all you wont find a better value hotel in blackpool and i wouldnt hesitate in staying again at the smart hotel. thank you steve and arleene we so wished we could have stayed longer.

Great HostsPosted Sep 8, 2009 on Hotels.com
Fantastic little guest house. Very clean. Steve & Arlene were great hosts and a mine of information on what is going on in Blackpool. A bit out of the way from the hustle and bustle but perfect if you like to get to sleep at night. Great breakfasts too.
