The Fylde International Backpackers

We stayed here for two nights, the family who run the hotel were very friendly and the room was decorated to a high standard. There is a big choice for breakfast and the hotel is clean, homely and only a 10 minute walk from the beach and main attractions. We would definitely stay here again when we next go to Blackpool and would reccommend it highly.

The owners were in the middle of painting the lounge area as we stayed at the hotel out of season, but this didn't spoil our stay as the hosts were very friendly and welcoming which made our stay very enjoyable. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Not a lot of parking available but again the hosts were happy to accomodate us which was brilliant as there is no where really to park apart from the local car parks or short term parking. Breakfast was very good, buffet style and again nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Great place to stay, very local to the city centre, only a few minutes walk to the Tower, shopping centre and theatre.

Owner very friendly,room was clean and comfortable. Food at breakfast was well cooked and presented, There was off street parking although not much but even this is unusual in central Blackpool other than at expensive hotels.

The Flyde was a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay, as well as our room we had use of the lounge with large tv, computer, and the dining room, which had an area for children to play. You get a key so that you can come and go as you please. The owner is very helpful she makes you feel right at home. Overall home from home, i would certainly recommend The Flyde for Couples and families.

This is nice place to stay at Blackpool. Staff was very helpful from the moment we entered this place.Nice and homely environment. Room was smaller than expected but nicely decorated and comfortable bed. 12-15 min walk from Blackpool Tower and other attractions. Amazing breakfast.
