We had a lovely short stay at the Holmleigh Guest House. We were made to feel very welcome by the Owners and breakfast was nice. Cosy and quiet. Highly recommended!

Convenient for all amenitiesPosted Aug 2, 2014
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel very clean and tidy, 2 minute walk to the beach/water park/pleasure beach. We had a family room. Had everything in we needed but was very compact for the 4 of us. Room got very warm even with window as wide as possible. Overall, excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again.

BB with old Blackpool charmPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: the price
Cons: The whole of Blackpool.
I am not sure why we slected this BB out of all the hundreds of hotels in Blackpool. It was very basic and our room was two levels up in a cubby hole. The price was attractive and the hotel offered off street parking. The hosts were very friendly how ever the hotel was a little like the whole of Blackpool, a bit tired and dated. We enjoyed our stay as this was what we were looking for.

Staff friendly but room very small and basic. Bunk bed very uncomfortable and on suite tiny.

For what we wanted to do, it was perfect. The hostess was friendly and accommodating and we had our very own valet parking curtousy of her husband :-) little things like that you never forget... Thank you x

Great service. Shower in room was on the blink so the lovely lady let us use her shower in her personal space.

One night in BlackpoolPosted Jun 3, 2014
The Holmeleigh fulfilled all my requirements between 5pm and 4am. Slept well, good shower etc. Left too early for a breakfast so nothing further to add on that. For leisure travellers it is well situated close to the beach. Good value all round.
