Pros: Spacious rooms, quiet and breakfast extremely good.
Cons: More staff. There seemed to be few waiting staff and people had to wait quiet a long time on service
Location: Close to promenade and amenities
Very pleasant, weather helped us enjoy our holiday further.

Nice hotel but a few negativesPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The decor is beautiful Staff are excellent Car parking is excellent The bar is great The hotel is well set up for disabled people
Cons: Meals could be more in line with prices around Blackpool Rooms could be modernised Waiting times for meals could be reduced
Negatives Meals were expensive - e.g. Sixteen pounds plus six pounds fifty for a basic grill, service was very slow both in the restaurant and for breakfast. Not enough staff for check out. There were 3 tills, but only one cashier. The room needed air conditioning for summer. Windows are archaic. Positives Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable The bar was very interesting and the bar staff were lovely. In between I would have loved to have used the pool, but felt it was too tucked away.

Lovely StayPosted Jun 28, 2014
The hotel was stunning, clean, elegant and cost. The restaurant was delicious and I would reccomend eating there. The pool was sweet and had the warmest jacuzzi I've ever used. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back to The Imperial next time we visit Blackpool.

Fine for my needsPosted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Location for my needs
Cons: Shower went consistently hot and cold, luckily it was bearable. I did mention this on departure so hope it gets fixed
Location: 10 mins walk from town. 2 mins from Hilton.
I was attending a conference in the Hilton nearby which was fully booked. I chose this hotel for its convenient location and I didn't want to look at the millions of guest houses around. I had quite reasonable/high expectations of a Puma hotel but these were not really met. There wasn't one massive thing that would put me off going but lots of little things that could make your stay so much nicer.

Stay Away From this HotelPosted Jun 1, 2014
Cons: Needs a big renovation project as well as good management
Location: Blackpool Dance Festival is the main event happening in this long forgotten seaside town
I stayed at the Imperial twice in the past, last when it was under the management of Barcelo Hotel chain. It was not a luxury hotel but basic amenities were still there. I just returned a week of holiday from Blackpool where I stayed at the Imperial. It was a quite awful experience. We booked our room from Expedia. It was supposed to be a standard room; however, it turned out to be the smallest room i have ever seen in my life. It was as if you need to jump into the bed from the entrance door. The bed was too small for two people and the mattress had alleys and peaks due to years of misuse. We never tried to sleep on it but I am sure if one ever menages to sleep on that bed there would be a high risk to fall form it once you roll involuntarily during your sleep. We certainly didn't accept that room. The alternative offered to us was a room for the disabled. The room was dirty; had a wardrobe without doors. It was the last straw on the camel's back. We were almost leaving the hotel, but the manager apologized and placed us to a room which was slightly better. Two days later, they started to build a scaffold around the building and to our surprise we woke up with workers workings at and looking through our windows. Curtains were a simple solution for the privacy but they cannot cut the noise throughout the rest of our stay. Also, pulling the curtain blocks the air circulations through the window which is the only "air conditioning" you can find in this luxurious British Hotel.

The Best Hotel in BlackpoolPosted May 14, 2014
Pros: Love its history. Good location and facilities.
Cons: Just need to stay on top of the minor issues
Location: Good location close to North Pier and shopping area.
Stayed for the weekend. Given a small sea-view at the top of the hotel although hadn't paid for one. Good breakfast selection and staff very attentive. Few minor issues with our room, uplifted tile in the bathroom, shower not very powerful, tap loose, door lock not effective, but clean and also comfortable bed. Wifi did not work very well, although the hotel had some technical issues on the Sunday.

Why was the central heating not working ?Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: The bed was large and comfortable.
Cons: Sort out the Central Heating System and spend more money on staff. Admit that it is 3 star hotel, not a 4 star
Location: Blackpool is a typical brash U.K. holiday resort - Lots of things to do Just make sure that you choose a better hotel.
Stayed from Wednesday lunch-time until Sunday lunch-time. When we arrived the hotel was extremely cold, we were told by reception that the heating has been turned off, and they were unable to restart it. There was also a distinct lack of staff on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Finally started working on Saturday, the same time as the hotel began filling up. The hotels that I have stayed in in Russia were all warmer than this, despite outside temperatures of minus 20 degrees celcius.

Nice hotelPosted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: Staff were friendly and lovely breakfast and dinner. Very clean room.
Cons: Bigger car park, lightbulbs need replacing.
Location: good location, tram stop right outside.
we arrived at the hotel on the 19th April for 2 nights as it was our wedding anniversary to find that our first night had been double booked.so we were put up in the savoy which we were told was 3 star and when we got there it was 2 star I would not recommend the savoy!!!(we were reimbursed for this night by the imperial) when we returned to the imperial for second night we found out we had been upgraded to the tower suite with complimentary dinner and breakfast. We didn't get to use the facilities which we planned to do as we only ended up with 1 night stay so can't comment on them. all staff were very friendly and helpful
