“Seen better days but still nice and charming”

while this hotel has seen better days, it still is a very nice place with "good bones". certainly the best of the old world places in blackpool. the rooms are nice and spacious and are in good enough shape. my room was overlooking the ocean and had a brand-new bathroom. all the public spaces such as lobby, bar, and restaurant are charming and the staff is friendly and attentive. again, this is not a brand-new 5* place but about as good as it gets if you're looking for a victorian old world hotel in blackpool.
