Excellent Stay!Posted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: Lovely decor, big choice of breakfast options!
Location: Couple of minutes walk to “Cabin” tram stop. You can buy discounted day-travel passes from Nisa shop a few secs walk from hotel (saves £1 per adult).
We’ve just returned from an excellent weekend stay here! The room we had (room 14) had was beautifully decorated - the carpet, bedding etc. looked brand new, and everywhere was totally clean. Having free wi-fi in the room was really handy too as we used it to check opening times/prices etc. for our days out. Breakfast was lovely. As a vegetarian I found I still had plenty of choice and the quality of the food was really good. It was also really nice to be able to help ourselves to the hot and cold drinks. We travel to Blackpool several times a year and will definitely be booking here again for our next trip!

Pros: Staff, cleanliness & food.
Location: Good location - only 2/3 minutes walk from two tram stops situated on the seafront promenade
Quirky guest house - nice welcome, spotlessly clean & superb breakfasts. Rooms have everything you need but ours was rather small

Hotel very nice staff great, very cheerful an helpful would definitely go back if we go back to blackpool. The breakfast was excellent something for everyone. There was a choice of full breakfast, fruit and cereal. Also plenty of coffee, tea and fruit juice.

Ideal getaway locationPosted Aug 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Hotel is on the quieter end of Blackpool, so no worries about noise from drunken revellers. Simon and Rhona were knowledgeable of the area and were of great help to us. The food was great, we booked in for bed and breakfast but also enjoyed a lovely bar meal on the last evening, great taste and price. Overall you get excellent service and value for money from two people, and their staff, who genuinely care about your needs.

Lovely friendly Blackpool hotelPosted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, Cooked Breakfast :)
Cons: Nothing really
Location: North Blackpool, so nice and quiet, but also handy for the tram :)
Lovely welcome and although our room was small, it was tastefully decorated and very clean. Amazing choice at breakfast, and the cooked english breakfast was lovely, cooked perfectly with great quality ingredients. All in all, a very friendly hotel, ideal for families and couples alike, the New Guilderoy offers great accommodation at fabulous rates. Will definitely use again if I visit Blackpool!

Fab hotel with friendly ownersPosted May 29, 2013
Pros: Friendliness of staff, location, breakfast
Cons: Nothing really - was well suited to our needs.
Location: Central, close to tram
Lovely weekend away in pleasant and well-cared for hotel. Simon and Rhona are excellent hosts and pleased to help in any way they can to make your stay more enjoyable. Just off the promenade and two minutes from the "Cliffs Hotel" tram stop, the hotel is centrally situated and ideal for hopping into Blackpool or further afield to Cleveleys. Our room was one of the smaller ones, but perfectly suitable for the two of us. The shower was great, bed comfortable and bathroom sparkling. What more could you want for £40 a night? Very good breakfasts too! Highly recommended. Enjoyed my stay - would be happy to visit again.

Great friendly HotelPosted Apr 10, 2013
Pros: Clean, good location, friendly owners and great breakfast
Cons: Small room
Location: Great location just a couple of minutes from the tram line and bus routes
We stayed here for 3 nights recently and I must say the hotel is great, very clean and tidy and in a great location. The owners made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was superb. The room was a little on the small side but very clean with fresh towels each day. We would certainly come back and would recommend the hotel.

Great B&B for a short breakPosted Jul 21, 2012
Great for a weekend stay. Free street parking & a short walk to the prom and the town. The en suite room was spotless with all the requirements you need. The room we had was on the small side and would look larger without the 4 poster bed. The owners are a lovely friendly couple.
