A very nice hotel

Location: Situated a 3 miles away from the Sea Shore, however, there's a beautiful park with a nice lake and gardens to enjoy within a few hundred yards.
Everything was very good except for a few missing amenities, like no Ice Machine, no Air Conditioning and we were given an inside room affording us only a view of other rooms plus an internal, pebble stone covered roof. It would have been nicer to see a tree or two or even some grass. I should point out that the lack of amenities is somehting one expects in N. America, apparently not so much in the UK.

Disappointed
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: Food nice, facilities good, overall okay..
Cons: The condition of the rooms..
Location: Great location, lovely surroundings
The duvet cover on the bed had a huge rip along one side, the one chair that was in the room was broken and there were holes in the pillowcases, disappointing as it is meant to be better than this..

Good location for business (in my case)

Pros: Staff were fantastic! Fantastic view over the golf course. Peaceful!
Cons: Not having access to BBC tv channels
Location: Great location - as mentioned above, easy access to the Zoo and the central town centre. Brilliant!
I stayed at the hotel in order to attend a conference. I must say that the House Keeping staff were superb as were the majority of receptionists. The one thing I would say is that I would be careful if offered an upgrade of room, particularly relating to accessing Sky tv. I did this and was unable to access any of the BBC channels. I politely informed the reception staff on a number of occasions about this, and was eventually informed that there was a fault with the tv and was offered another room. However, the house keeper came to my room and sorted out the problem which made me wonder whether anyone had been to have a look at the tv in the first instance. Other than this, the venue is next door to Blackpool Zoo which was ok to visit. It is also within easy reach of Blackpool town centre (about 2 miles). If you like a drink, make sure you take plenty of cash as the drinks are very expensive (e.g. 175 glass of pinot grigot was £6.50). The Italian restaurant was great (even though I'm not a great lover of Italian food). The quality of cuisine was excellent as was the service. Lovely music to set a fantastic ambience too.

Excellent for Blackpool

Pros: Outdoor pool
Cons: Uncomfortable beds
Location: A bit far from main front but that's not a bad thing
Lovely hotel. Excellent facilities especially outdoor pool on a hot day. Excellent place to go if you want to go to Blackpool but don't want to stay in a b&b.

Great choice for a family break with style.

Pros: The spa and pool
Cons: The bathroom
Location: Great for quieter stay
Short stay in Blackpool and very pleased we stayed with DeVere group. Good service and the hotel pool made our 6 year old very happy after a long day in town. The spa was very clean and staff attentive. The family room was good and well decorated but the sofa bed meant the room was not that spacious and it wasn't particularly comfortable. The bathroom was clean and although slightly disappointed with a lack of complimentary soaps it did the job. Ideal for families who want comfort with style.

Pros: Location,facilities, modern
Cons: None
My wife and I plus my 12 year old stayed for 2 nights 24th/25th may and have to say fantastic, the room rates are excellent value considering what you pay for for for all the Run down b&b's and other so called hotels along the sea front, I plan to go back as this is a hotel that deserves repeat visits has everything you could want for.5 star in my opinion.

Great hotel for a couple with a baby!

Pros: Location and surrounding
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Just right ...
Great hotel just like all the other De Vere Villages that we've stayed at. They didnt charge an additional supplement charge for my 17 month old daughter. Landscape location swimming pool everything was great. Even the staff... overall made us feel welcome. Positive is the location because it's not too far from the coast but one doesn't have to pay £12-£15 for pparking for a hotel near the centre. The only let down was the breakfast... we had to queue up 15-20 minutes to be seated for breakfast which i thought was a bit extreme as there were many tables empty... just not being cleared and the quality of the breakfast out of 10 was about a 5-6. On the contrary the comfort of the bed and the ambience of the room made up for it.

Relaxing in Blackpool
Posted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: The grounds were really relaxing
Cons: The shower. The bathroom was to small. The shower screen is fixed. Really hard to get in and out
Location: So near to centre of Black pool without all the hype
Really enjoyed the facilities that were on offer A great place to relax eat and meet up with friends It was great to have the gym facilities and swimming pool to use at any time
