“Worth the money”

We are a party of 3 adults and 2 kids and we wanted to have a room with 3 queen beds. You cannot find that so often, but Americas Best Value Inn was the solution for us. The room was clean enough to stay for a night (we could stay for another night(s)). Good location, only a few minutes' drive/walk to locally-recommended restaurants, and of course, houses of Armish people. We will be happy to come back here if we have another chance.

“American Best Value is true to it's name”

I found this amazing deal at the American Best Value Inn. The check-in was simple. The reception checked my info and took down my credit card info, then she handed me the key, an actual key, and directed us the location of our room. It has 3 double beds across the room. There was a refrigerator in the room. One bathroom with the sink in a separate area. We had two adults and 4 kids, 6 in all! 2 shared each bed and the bed was firm. The breakfast was kind of depressing, so we went out to eat buffet breakfast in Miller. If you are just looking for a simple place to sleep and save money, I highly suggest this place. It fits a big family for affordable price. The restaurants in the neighborhood are great and cheap. The location is perfect for visiting the Amish and all the popular places in the area. I will stay there again in the future.

Area recommendations

The inn is in Ronks, a 10-15 away from Birds-in-hand, Paradise and Intercourse. These places have all the little shops from quilts to jams to country gifts.

Events and shows

There is a dinner show at Sight & Sound Theater nearby. We like to go to the Dutch Apple Theater which is about 25 mins away. Go on line to order tickets. Plan ahead will make your trip more entertaining. There is nothing open after 6pm in the Amish County. Seeing a dinner show is the better way to kill the evening. There is also outlet mall all over Lancaster. The mall opens till 9pm.
