“Nice on the outside.”

My 5 year old son fell at the pool area (he had WALKED over to ask me a question and turned around to WALK back) and SLAMMED down onto the floor ! Something needs to be done ! He had a huge bump on the back of his head, 2 bruises on his back and his fall scared the hell out of us ! The (female) employee at the front desk just smiled and walked away. Later she was seen squeegeing the pool area, the (male) employee acted concerned, asked questions, offered Wayne a candy bar, offered for us to take him to the hospital....I am not an over reactive parent..however, I iced Wayne's bump, and kept check on him overnight. He said he filled out an incident report, I asked for a copy of the report before we checked out and the morning front dest clerk had to fill it out herself. I work in Environmental Management and there is NO reason that floor should be that slippery ! Even if it is wet ! This Hotel has some issues it needs to address before someone is seriously injured. The Hotel could have done ALOT BETTER BY US !

“Very Nice and Comfortable”

Very nice hotel, I only had a couple complaints but nothing too serious. The room was like a freezer when we walked in and breakfast wasnt that great. Everything was cold and there wasnt very much of several items for all the guests. Both other than that it was great. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Thanks for the great stay i will keep this hotel in mind on my next visit to hocking hills.

Room was clean and comfortable, pool was large and enjoyable, and breakfast was delicious

“I look for Baymont when I travel.”

My family and I have been using Baymont hotels for the past 5 years and we love the friendliness, service, rooms, beds/pillows, the pool, staff, and the continental breakfast in the mornings. The hotels are clean and quiet. Look forward to the next trip-wherever it is, hopefully there will be a Baymont hotel.

“Not as advertised”

It was listed as having a spa (hot tub) and a fitness center. Neither was true. The spa has been out of service for at least a year, according to the desk clerk. Also, they no longer have fitness equipment to use. Patrons now have to go across a busy 4-lane road to a fitness club to exercise. With the below freezing temps and the snow this was not a very reasonable option.

“Clean, friendly hotel for the frugal”

This hotel maintains a high quality staff--the building is aging but clean, the beds were uber-comfortable, security was adequate. If you just need a place to crash and the kids want to swim, you can't find a better place for the money.

“Not bad, No Luxuries.”

Staff was very friendly and helpful though the accomidations were definately a 2-3 star hotel.
