“Can't wait to go back”
very happy with this hotel.
“overall good stay, nice pool”
overall good stay, nice pool
“Very nice accomodations!”
Only issue was being in a room so close to lobby, when trying to sleep LATE, it was kind of tough.
“room & ammenties were great”
Our room had a front door hallway access & a back door indoor pool access. Didn't care for our late night rowdy neighbors in the hallway who then moved to the indoor pool to make more noise. I was worried they would wake up our 4 year old son.
“Wanted to love this hotel so bad...”
I belong to a very popular LI website for parents. There have been numerous conversations about hershey park and dutch wonderland, what to do, where to stay and eat, etc. etc. One hotel got rave reviews over and over again, Eden. I knew when we were booking our trip that this was where we just HAD to stay! The hotel was almost booked so we were unable to get a suite which we would have preferred, but for myself, my husband and our two small girls, 4 and 2, we would manage with a regular room because I wanted to stay here so badly. I will start with the good, beautiful hotel, super clean, nice restaurants with good food. Very nice staff. The pool was pretty and we LOVED the play/sprinkler area for the little ones. Now the not so good. Upon checking in the nice guy at the front desk asked if we preferred 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor. With two little ones I would prefer not to go up stairs/elevators numerous times a day but I specifically asked.. do you think the 1st floor will be too noisy with two small children? I was assured absolutely not!! We were given room 180. When we walked in the room it was pitch black.. I felt like we were in a basement. Since we were on the inside of the hotel, we didnt have any natural light coming in. we proceeded to open the blinds to look out our "window" and see that we are right next to a large dining room. It was a pretty room and empty so we didnt give it much thought. Im running out of space to continue but lets just say, NOT relaxing AT ALL :(
“Pretty at Night!”
Really nice hotel w/ 5star quality for 3star price. Nice job with this one Best Western.
“Wonderful Stay!”
Our room was spotless and very roomy. Although we did not book a suite, we were able to take a look at one and they were beautiful. It had a separate bedroom and small microwave area, and another separate area held a large flat screen, bed & couch. The kids had a blast at the indoor pool which was a big plus on a wintry day. They are building an outdoor pool which looks like it's going to be beautiful. The location is perfect - right near the highway entrance. Plenty of restaurants and gas stations around. Employees were courteous and friendly. All in all - a perfect weekend getaway spot.
“Good weekend getaway”
Depending on how you look at it, the only thing I have to comment about is the location. Everything about the place was fantastic: the decor, the service, the resturants, the room and the ammenities. Although it is nice that it is right off the highway, it was also...right off the highway. So, as you try to relax by the outdoor pool, you can't help but be aware that you are in a really great resort for a short gataway but can see and hear all the trucks and cars on the highway. A recommendation would be to plant some tall tress to absorb the sound and block the view of the highway. Other than that, it was great stay for a three night getaway.
“Fun in pools”
The indoor and outdoor pools were fabulous and we had hours of fun swimming in both. Pool was very well maintained and clean. Very nice suite. Good space for family. Only complaint was that bed cover had funny smell, otherwise room was great. Staff was helpful and friendly.
“Best Hotel”
My family and I were Extremely excited about the hotel. We will go back to stay longer just to be at the hotel and will get a larger suite. There were lots to do, Indoor/outdoor pools w/ ordering services, restaurants, tennis, basketball etc. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Coming back to the hotel after a long day of fun with the kids was a pleasure.
