My husband and I stayed for two days. The staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable. It is a bit dated but it was clean. We plan to return sometime this summer and bring our friends. It is a good value for us.

Motel close to places we wanted to visit.

Posted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to places we were to visit. It was quiet but next to soda and snack machines that was loud when someone tried to get something out.
Cons: Heat should be turned on prior to arrival of guests, even if only to 60 degrees, not 50 degrees. Microwaves should be placed in rooms.
Location: Sight and Sound Theatre, American Music Theatre, Fulton Steamboat Inn, Rockvale Outlets.
Motel was very cold when we arrived at 6 pm. Saw no heaters. Phoned front desk-advised heater was in the ceiling with thermostat on wall-Advised us to turn on high and would take 15 minutes to heat. Actually took an hour to heat up since we went out for dinner and an hour later back to motel to feel a bit warmer but took next hour to really warm up. My spouse was ready to call it quits, Other motels would have had the room heated up upon arrival. Only 2 sets of towels were given to us the second day and no clean paper cups were given to us (we had used them and disposed of them). Our room was changed without notifying us-we had asked for a room with 1 queen bed but was put into room with 2 queen beds (room was in middle of row of rooms). Person advised that we were moved so we would not hear all the traffic noises.

Out dated and dirty

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Children at the desk were helpful and polite.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated and thoroughly cleaned.
Location: We went to the Christmas Show at American Music Theater and shopping at the Rockvale and Tanger outlets.
We stayed in the "family suite" which has three queen sized beds and a sitting area. The carpets were worn and dirty, the bathroom was last updated in the 1970's and the ceiling fans were covered in dust. Although we paid a fee to have an extra guest and the room accommodated six people, there were only towels for four people. The breakfast was stale bagels and waffles. There were children who were at the desk morning and night. Although they were very polite, it did not seem appropriate to have young children at a desk checking in strangers. I did see an Indian couple during the day who I am assuming were their parents but they did not address us. Very disappointing!

an okay hotel

Posted Nov 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
it was fine, considering the low nightly rate. However, there were two of us and the hot water ran out part way through my shower, so my husband could not take one. The complimentary breakfast was just ok. What was really unpleasant was that the room next door became occupied after midnight and the occupants - 2 adults and 2 children were noisy enough to wake us and keep us up until dawn. While that's not the fault of the hotel, perhaps staff checking in such late guests could STRONGLY stress the importance of consideration by keeping the noise way way down so others could sleep.

room location and wi-fi reception

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: clean, includes breakfast, convenient to the train museum, shops.
i asked the receptionist to place us away from the road, we didn't want to be disturbed with all the cars coming by. She assured us it's very quiet not too many cars passing by. Sure enough it wasn't we heard cars passing by all thru the night. and wi-fi crashed she told us stand by the office to get signal (which is far from our hotel room) or stand by the window...no luck!
