Not as nice as it used to be.

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs a total renovation
I stayed at this hotel several years ago and it was very nice. Since then it has gone down hill. The bathroom is very out dated and there is a sign on the wall telling you how to turn the toilet off in case of an overflow. Our toilet stopped just before going over and took an hour for the water to settle and the tank refill. The carpets are coming up from the floor and there is dirt around the edges of the room. The equipment in the fitness room did not work. I won't be returning any time soon!

Days Inn Lancaster PA Dutch Country

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: The housekeeping, our room was clean but not super clean there was dust on the bed frame and the clock.
Location: The hotel is in a great location near restaurants and the outlets stores and it close to the Sight and Sound Theater gas stations , etc.
We booked this hotel online, it was a nice hotel a little on the small size, the breakfast was right in the lobby when you came in we did not eat the breakfast cause we wanted a hot breakfast, the staff was very nice, the hotel was clean and very quite, we had adjoining rooms so that was also nice and it was located near everything.

Adequate accommodations.

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: It was close to the attractions we came to see.
Cons: Definitely the breakfast! Limited choices, unimaginative, tasteless. No bread, bagels. Add at least hard boiled eggs and perhaps a meat.
Could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. The young lady at the desk when we checked in was very friendly and helpful (We had to change rooms immediately because of an extremely loud, dripping bath tub faucet). Upon checkout, the young man helping us was efficient but lacking in personality.

Days Inn Lancaster

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: fitness centre, breakfast, customer service, updating rooms, paint, fix ceiling stain, clean phones, clean up stains on outside of the building etc.
Location: Lots of restaurants, Sight & sound theatre close by, lots of shopping
When my entire family chose Days Inn we had already experience other Days Inn that were good. This Days Inn is the worst Hotel we ever stayed at. I would not want to mention in details my family's experience as I would not want anyone to get into trouble. But we go to Lancaster every year and will never return to this Inn.

Good for the price

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds, hot showers
Cons: Breakfast and turn the tv down in the lobby
Location: Lancaster is a very pleasant area and this hotel puts you right next to the main road with easy access to a number of stores.
Nothing extraordinary, and with my room being close to the lobby it was rather noisy. Otherwise it was fine. Good price for a single night stay.

Not good....

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: Don't know unable to stay there.
Cons: I called 2 hrs earlier to check on room on my 5 hr cab ride to Lancaster. Lady on phone stated room was ready and waiting for me. 2 hr later it wasn'
Finally arrived at motel at 2300. from cab ride from Pittsburg. Man at desk said there was no room.."electrical problems". Found a room at red roof inn 1/2 mile down road. said I needed to find a ride there myself. Housekeeping staff finally gave me a ride. Did not stay at Days inn. Had Motel right across the street. but told me I had to stay at Red roof or pay the difference. Red roof not much better. No clocks working in room. Screen torn on window. Cigarette butts in hall of a nonsmoking floor.

Terrible experience at the Days Inn

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: New management would help
1) TV Remote control did not work - The new one they gave us, barely cooperated as well! 2) NO working WI-FI (False Advertisement) - (Other guests complained to me as well about this in the Lobby). The desk clerk blamed it on the high usage on that night - GUESS WHAT! Did not work all night long till I left the room! I relied on the WI-FI to perform some business and I was not able to. 3) Hair dryer did not work - Thank God for my wife who had the good sense to bring one with us (I like her way of thinking to not trust anyone). 4) Rug smelled bad - I did not dare walk barefoot. 5) The bed sheets were all wrinkled - I am wondering if they even changed it? 6) Very noisy hallway - We had to turn the TV a little louder to muffle the noise. 6) Did not get a receipt because I was told printer did not work - The clerk told me that he was going to email it to me. Guess what! I never received one -

Hotel needs complete update. Very poor continental breakfast plus right next to outside doors... Poorly placed area. Lobby very poor. Too much $ for this hotel. Would not stay again.
