Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Just about everything.
Location: It was a good location on the "main drag."
The hotel had a very old feeling, and not in a good way. There was nothing nice or comforting that would make you want to spend one minute of time there outside of sleeping. The only positive was the front desk clerk/manager. She was very pleasant. My television was broken (the volume didn't work on a third of the channels), so I asked for a new room, and was told the hotel was sold out. She didn't offer a room discount or anything else, but it was her first day on the job so I didn't press. Also, my room key did not open the side door, which was the one closest to my room.

Not a good visitPosted Dec 30, 2013
Pros: Not much at all!
Cons: Cleanliness of the beds.
Location: Plenty of things to see and lots of places to eat or shop.
This hotel was rated a 2.5 star but it felt more like a 1 star. The staff was helpful and accomodating but the facility was old and needed upgrading to many of its areas. The carpets in the hallways were filthy, and although there were clean sheets & pillow cases, the pillows and bedding smelled of a very sharp body odor, which was repulsive. The continental breakfast was very small in choice and kept running out.

Noisy.Posted Dec 23, 2013
Pros: Location close to American Music Theatre and Outlets
Cons: 1. Put some sound dampening material to reduce/eliminate the excessive noise the room doors make when the slam shut & add some soundproofing to rooms.
Location: Take in a show at American Music Theatre or Sight &. Sound. Shop at Tanger or Rockvale Outlets
Stayed at this Days Inn for just one night but would not do so again if I can help it. Stayed on second floor but could not get a good night's sleep because of noise. The walls are so thin that you can hear whenever a door to another room is opens and closes. It sounds like doors are slamming constantly. At times the impact is such that it feels like the room is shaking. Also, from the confines of your room you can clearly hear conversations that are going on in the corridor and/or adjacent rooms. Numerous times during my brief stay I got out of bed to answer what sounded like someone knocking on the door only to realize they were knocking on the door across and down the corridor from the room I was in (there was no room directly across from the one I was in). After a long day and facing a long drive the next day, this was not the best place to get a good night's sleep. At least not on the second floor.

Old, rundown, dirty - you get the pointPosted Dec 16, 2013
Location: Located near outlet shopping and American Music Theater.
We booked two hotel rooms for an overnight stay (three women). First of all, this hotel is way past its prime. Arrived after a snow storm. Parking lot was not plowed -- only clear where cars drove over it. It was icy and I slipped going into the hotel. No staff at front desk for a few minutes even though you could see workers in the back. Everyone ignored us until a woman came to the front after a few minutes and asked if she could help us. It gave us time to look around the lobby and continental breakfast area and we were underwhelmed. Our rooms were on the second floor. No elevator. Lugged bags up a flight of stairs. Rooms were right off stairway on either side. Men were working dragging around rolls of something that might have been carpet and mattresses up & down stairs. Noisy situation. Key for one room wouldn't work. Other room key worked but door assembly was loose. Did not feel safe staying here. Room we got into had a funny smell -- like smoke and disinfectant. Carpet felt stiff underfoot. I wouldn't walk barefoot here. Could see where painted over mold or leak stains in ceiling. All-in-all this was a horrible hotel. Called Expedia for a refund but hotel would not approve it because they offered us a different room. It would've been a different room in the same sad, rundown, dirty, unsafe hotel. That was not an option. I cannot understand why Expedia made this hotel their recommended property for that area. I relied on their recommendation and feel deceived.

Pros: location to the local theaters
Cons: controlling the tempture of the room
Location: close to the local theaters /sight& Sound, AMC Theater ,
staff were very helpful, The weather was calling for icy and snow conditions we were not sure we would be able to check out on our departure day, but staff assured us that there were plenty of rooms available should the need to stay an extra night be required. when booking the room staff were also helpful in getting a ground floor room for us since I recently had a knee replacement and my mother is also handicapped.
