Nice, Comfortable HotelPosted Jul 23, 2014
We arrived 2 hours before check-in and were immediately given a room. The room was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and close to many places of interest. The restaurant in the hotel was convenient. The food was good, and reasonably priced. My wife is handicapped, and on oxygen. We were given a Handicapped Room close to the elevators, which was not requested, but very much appreciated. We had an excellent stay.

Nice hotel, location close to all attractionsPosted Jul 22, 2014
Had a nice experience at this hotel while visiting Dutch wonderland and other attractions in Lancaster. Close to all attractions. Right across the street is a supermarket and cvs and McDonald's so if you forget anything it's right there.

Nice hotel for familiesPosted Jul 13, 2014
Would not recommend this hotel for a couples getaway. This hotel is perfect for families with kids. Our kids are 5 and 6. They have a kid pool with a water slide, which the kids loved! It was a nice that they had something to do during our "down time" back at the hotel. Also, Dutch Wonderland is only 20 mins away. The restaurant inside the hotel- cafe 24- was not bad. They do have a kids menu, however it's not a big selection. Also, we had to bring something for the kids to do there- they do not have crayons or a coloring activity that many restaurants hand out. Children 5 and under eat for free during breakfast, which is nice. Overall, it was an excellent stay and the staff was very nice :)

Ok hotel close to Dutch Wonderland in the country.Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Early check in, free wifi, pools.
Location: Amish country, Dutch Wonderland, about 45 mins to Hershey,Park
We stayed just one night. Our group was 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 5 and 7. My kids loved the kiddie pool park inside, which had lifeguards on duty. The lady at the restaurant was not friendly and we ate offsite in downtown Lancaster.

Very nice hotel. Close to many kids attractions.Posted Jul 11, 2014
Everything was great. One only bad side was: breakfast ended at 11:00am. When on vacation with small kids you don't want to rush in the morning to make breakfast. You go to bed late and therefore wake up late.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful locationPosted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: I loved the cleanliness, the beautiful grounds, and the friendly staff.
Location: The towns of Lancaster and Bird-in-Hand are close by, with Amish quilt and bake shops to visit. The Sight & Sound Theater is also close.
The hotel is beautiful inside and out, from the grounds to the lobby to even the bathroom. Everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. As I checked in, the front desk attendant gave me a warm chocolate chip cookie as a welcome gift. My favorite thing was the palm tree court, located in the middle of the hotel. It extended from the first floor to the fifth. Every time I came into the lobby, I enjoyed looking at the palm tree court with its twinkling white lights. On my last morning there, I was able to order my breakfast through room service. It arrived as early as it was supposed to, giving me an early start on the road. I would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant visit to the Amish countryPosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Just a great facility with all the ammenities that any traveler would need.
Cons: Everything was very enjoyable
Location: There was great shopping, food and beautiful sight-seeing in the Amish country. The resort is located about 10 minutes from the main routes.
The stay at the Doubletree was great. Very accomodating staff, modern, comfortable room and a wonderful facility.
