One Night in PalmdalePosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Well Located close to shopping, and a Mall with a large selection of Dinner choices
Cons: More staff to help with Check ins in the evenings especially on a weekend
Location: Antelope Valley Mall is within 3 minutes by car to the Hotel Dinner Shopping, movies A Target is about 1 minute away so if you need anything
Had to stay one night in Palmdale for early morning meeting in Tehachapi. Hotel was well located to shopping and Dinner. Hotel Staff were friendly but loooong line to get checked in, could have used another clerk instead of just one at 5:00 PM on a Friday night ??? Room was nice, but bathroom sink drain was locked in Down position, and no way to repair that night. Ended up using Wet bar sink for all bathroom sink stuff. Not impossible, but just not what you expect from an Embassy Suites at 180.00 a night Breakfast was great wait staff were fantastic. Would I stay again ? If I had to go to that area yes.

Even though the hotel was booked for the weekend we didn't have to wait a long time for room service. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Nice hotel in a bad neighborhood.Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Very clean.
Cons: The front desk girl (long black hair) Just stared at my wife and I when we arrived at the counter. Please teach her customer service.
Location: The girl at the bar was too busy with her friends talking about their wedding rings and clothes.
Beautiful, comfortable, room. Entry nice, Staff OK.

Mechanical noise/vibrationPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Layout of rooms, breakfast setup. Strong quality usually.
Cons: Noise, vibration number 1. Bathroom sink the spigot does not extend far enough into sink. causes water to fall off back of bowl.
Location: Location is good. Solid acces to area.
We were on the top (seventh) floor. Room was fine. Typical quality of an Embassy Suites. Previous stays make it a Hotel chain I check if it is where we are going. There was a mechanical noise combined with vibration that permeated the room. We were booked for three days and left after the first night because my wife got No sleep. This was on a very busy weekend and so the Hotel was full so no room change was possible. The town was swamped so it took quite a bit to find another room anywhere. The staff was not supportive or helpful when presented with the situation.

Very nice and upscalePosted Jul 1, 2014
Our room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was not your normal continental breakfast, it was a hot breakfast with made to order omelette station. The only downside was there was hair in our bathroom.

Pros: Very Clean and Polite staff.
Cons: I did not care for the coffee in the room or in the breakfast area.
Easy Check-in. Enjoyed the happy hour cocktails. Snacks could have been improved. Not many vegetables or cheese. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Stayed one nightPosted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here one night during Memorial Day weekend and loved the place. We missed out on the managers reception because we went to see a movie but it sounded like a great time - free beer and I asked about kids and was told they are also welcome in the lounge area and the manager will provide free sodas for them! The hotel is a couple blocks from the free way and the mall, but far enough that it's super quiet. The rooms are cute and have everything you might need. What really sets this place apart was the breakfast. It's only open from 6-9am but you MUST set your alarm and get down there - it's like a Vegas hotel buffet but all complimentary!
