Pros: Meals were available on site at all times. They were good, and accommodating given all the tour busses that were there constantly.
Cons: Lighting in our room was poor, VERY poor. There was one chair for 4 people. Very uncomfortable to relax at the end of a day.
Location: Convenient to everything (except a drug store which we needed) Every department store, or hotel imaginable was within a 5 mile radius.
Accommodations were not like they were pictured on their website. They were fair. Greatly overrated.

Convenient if you are going to Sight and SoundPosted Sep 21, 2012
Pros: walking distance to shopping, sight and sound

Friendly environment surrounding the hotel. Nice view of the lake and wide life.

Great for a FamilyPosted Aug 1, 2012
Pros: Restaurant - breakfast buffet
Cons: A bit run down
Location: Excellent location
The room was small and not as clean and updated as I would like. Huge TV for the size room. The pool was nice, but could use a few more chairs. The restaurant and gift shop were excellent and the best part of the facility. The fact that the wonderful breakfast buffet came with the room "free" was a redeeming feature. Lovely grounds with hiking trails and a playground.

Great hotel for the whole familyPosted Jul 29, 2012
Cons: There was no coffee pot in the room
Location: location is perfect. Right next to Sight and Sound, which is a must to see
The room was quaint. The whole layout was so restful and beautiful. Shopping at Hersey Farms. The food is so delicious. They give you a great buffet for breakfast. The pool looked great! A kiddie pool for the little ones. We would certainly stay there again.

OK-could have been better for the costPosted Jun 19, 2012
Pros: location, quietness
Cons: drab room
Great location, quiet, relaxing. Carpet in room needed cleaning, room was somewhat dated and dreary. Hallways were in need of paint and update. Breakfast buffet was great. We thought it should have been nicer for the price we paid.

A Great Place to StayPosted Mar 30, 2012
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times...we are repeat customers because the rooms are clean, attractively decorated, and the management always honors our preferences. The restaurant is homey and the food is good. The staff makes you feel like family. It's a very nice experience to stay there. It's very affordable, too.

good hotelPosted Oct 13, 2010
stay was nice for a week end. kids loved the two playgrounds on site and the farm animals. food it's OK but very abundant. room was clean but a little old, in need of re-painting (same for the bathroom that needs some renovation). Overall the hotel was very good for the price and the amenities and the location. Will definitively go back in summer for the pool

Great location to all the sites, restaurants, and outletsPosted Aug 25, 2010
Hershey Hotel was all that we expected... not a fancy chain hotel, but rather a quaint local hotel that gives you the true feeling of the area. The grounds are beautiful. With plenty to keep children busy. The pool overlooked a hill and lake with ducks to feed.... beautiful. Room was clean and comfortable, and no request was unattended to. Buffet breakfast was included in our stay, and was wonderful. The room rates were more than fair as breakfast was included for my family of 4. There are 3 different and separate buildings to stay at. We were at the hotel with inside rooms. The pool is located there. There is also the Carriage House and Farm House which have rooms that open to the outside and are all on ground level. All rooms are located centrally and are an easy stroll to the restaurant, farm animals, pool, and lake. Would definitely go back!!!!

Pool Side Rooms are BetterPosted Jul 2, 2010
Hershey Farm has excellent customer service. The Front desk was personable and attentive to our needs. They definately made sure you felt at home and assisted in providing information on tours and guides. However I feel that the rooms themselves could use some upgrades. They need to upgrade there microwaves, refrigerators, televisions and bedsheets. They were clean but 1980's. I noticed the pool side rooms were a bit better than the one we stayed in. The Hershey Farm Restaurant was delicious. There food was so tasty and it was the best part of my trip. The pool itself needed some cleaning and maintenance. This place is okay for a low cost family trip...Great for kids to run around outdoors and see farm animals.
