Good trip

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Decreasing the noise from closing room doors
Location: Great central location for anything Amish, good place to stay if visiting the outlet mall
Spent 2 nights, only complaint is the noisy closing doors of the rooms around us and the walls are pretty thin, could hear a guest in the room next to ours snoring all night. Staff was very pleasant at check in, housekeepers greeted us when passing, and breakfast was fine. Overall a good experience, would stay here again when visiting the area.

Pros: Great staff. Good breakfast
Cons: Add an indoor pool. Not much swimming possibilities most of the year
Location: If you like antiques, Columbia is a short hop on Route 30. Right on the river.
Roll out of bed and you can hit all the major attractions

Nice, clean hotel.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, with convenient complimentary breakfast!
Cons: The heating system could be quieter. And we could hear guests checking out early, slamming doors.
Comfortable room (although my husband thought that the heating system was noisy, it didn't bother me). Free breakfast buffet with many tasty choices. Shopping outlets within walking distance.

There were 15 of us who came to Lancaster to the Sight and Sound Theater. I arranged the trip and everyone of the guests raved about the accommodations. We are going to plan another trip next year with a much larger number in our group, perhaps twice as large.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express Lancaster

Pros: Everything and it was close to all the places we wanted to go.
Cons: I cant think of anything
Location: Sight and Sound Theatre, outlets.
Very nice Hotel clean, Comfortable, very friendly staff.

A little disappointed

We stayed at this hotel because of its convenient location however, while they are upgrading and installing a new fitness center, they should pay more attention to the condition of the mattresses and bathroom facilities. The innerspring in our king mattress was "sprung" and sorely in need of replacing. The toilet seat slid back and forth because of a broken hinge and didn't flush well nor did the sink drain well. The clincher was the centipede that crawled along the ceiling over our heads one night. Hotel management tried to capture it but it fell to the floor never to be found causing us all a restless night's sleep. The pancake machine was out of order and from reports of guests who had visited earlier in the month, it was out of order then also which leads me to believe not much was being done to repair or replace it.

Good Holiday Inn-Ex for people with disabilities

This Holiday Inn Express was clean and inviting. The staff seemed competent and efficient. My reservation was correct and easily found when I arrived at the hotel. I booked a wheelchair accessible room since I use a chair. Some hotels struggle to get this correct, but this Holiday Inn had no trouble with it or with my service dog. I would have liked a few more options for fresh fruit at the breakfast, but it was a decent spread nonetheless.
