To much to fit into box below.. Dont goPosted Dec 17, 2013
ok lets start from stepping into the place... no staff at desk and had to press DOORBELL to get someone that comes to you behind a glass window! They only hand you one room key and tell you that the ent to get to your room is around the courner of the place. No elevator in the hotel only stairs and a heavy suit case. You get to your room and when you use your key card you have to use your hip to open the door. Now when you are in the room you have to use your hip to close the door. I will now start from the door back to window.. When you walk into the room there is a iron holder with out a iron luggage rack all torn up. The bath room was no better then a highway rest stop. The tub had dirt in it the tolet leaked and the shampoo was in little pouches and the soap was all crumbled up in the wrapper. All the towles where ripped as if they where used to wash a car and the heat lamp never turned off on its own. The sink outside the room was dirty(dusty and grim) and the mirror behind it was filty as well. the counter was all banged up and the lights for the sink area where dim and did not match. The mini.fridge had feet missing so it wobbled and the dresser had draws that where off track and had to yank to open. The tv was way out dated but to my supprize worked. The bed was hard as a rock and had sheets that did not fit. The best part of the bed was the head board that will keep falling off the wall all night long. The draws to the night stands had garbage and dirt in them.

I got what I paid for....Posted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: Very fast, friendly and efficient front desk clerks, three different ones that did very well. Very friendly chamber service.
Cons: alarm clocks in the rooms.
Location: Dutch Wonderland.. The entire Pennsylvania Dutch Amish heartland. Huge access to Lancaster Factory Outlets. Vast array of quality dining spots.
its nice enough, good location. The staff's friendliness is notable. I was looking for cheap, inexpensive, beds, bathroom for four. That is pretty much all it is. They do a good job with continental breakfast. Good variety, and they keep it maintained. The room was a lot cleaner this time than a year and a half ago when I stayed here. Simple complaints that i'm really nit-picking about. ie... peeling wall-paper, dry air, no clocks in the rooms, toilet is very low to the floor...... my family and I are on the large side, but all were able to be comfortable enough to sleep both nights. I never heard my wife complain to me about it either day we stayed there. Believe me... that is really noteworthy.

Inexpensive and QuietPosted Oct 25, 2013
Cons: Could have a better breakfast...waffles or anything but dry bread and juice.
Location: Have to check out Sight and Sound Theater which is only a couple miles away. Great restaurants with fresh food. Amish and local Lancaster shops.
We stopped for one night and it was very nice. Comfy mattress and very nice staff. They are in the midst of renovations so I am sure it will be better the next time we stay there. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but there are plenty of places in the area to eat. Family and animal friendly.

horriblePosted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: was close to our event.
the hotel was not filthy, no bedbugs. desperately needs updated. just very dingy. stayed in a non-smoking room. obvious was previously smoked in. the tv cable remote did not work well. lock on door did not work, window did not lock. although appeared to be in a decent area of town, did not necessarily feel safe.

Convenient locationPosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: The man at the desk was helpful in correcting problems. He was very helpful with our luggage.
Cons: The decor needs to be refresh ended. A little paint would go a long way.
Location: Terrific location. Many Amish related attractions.
I was disappointed that hotel was not visually pleasing. Dirty linens were left in the room. The light near the bed was not in working order.

Worst case scenarioPosted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: New bedspread.
Cons: Cleaning techniques are way under par. I don't even recall seeing cleaning chemicals on the housekeeping carts--scary.
Location: The location is good; minutes from downtown Lancaster, Rockvale shopping outlets, and Dutch Wonderland.
The room was dirty. Spent soap, shampoo, and hair in the tub. The vanity sink appeared as though it had never been cleaned. There was black grime around the sink drain and dried toothpaste and soap scum in the sink itself. Spare pillows were thrown haphazardly in the closet shelf; I dared not use the pillows for fear that the pillowcases were unclean. Perhaps most disturbing was the use of plug-in air freshners installed in nearly every outlet in the room. I couldn't help but wonder what the room smelled like without the stench of air freshners. Would not, under any circumstance, recommend staying here.

Cheap motel is cheap.Posted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: The low price.
Cons: Make the bed softer.
Location: Near Dutch Wonderland. Close to lots of other motels that probably cost more. Only a few minutes from downtown Lancaster. Lots of franchise eateries.
If you are looking for a cheap motel, this is a cheap motel. It has everything that you'd expect a cheap motel to have. The bed was very, very hard and uncomfortable, but room was pretty clean. If you want something nicer, you should expect to pay more.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.Posted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel manager did not have a clue. We were given a room key to a room that already had people in it. The situation was fixed, but come on. Also the breakfast was worthless, we went downtown to get something.

Don't stay here...Posted Sep 9, 2013
Location: Location is good for access to various parts of Lancaster County.
Room had a musty smell; overall cleanliness poor; no microwave, iron, or coffee pot in the room. Bed was as hard as a brick. Bathroom was so tiny it was difficult to function in it. Bathroom floor was very dirty in corners. Towels and sheets were dingy and gray looking, not convinced they were washed with any Clorox to kill bacteria/germs. Comforter and blanket on bed were so gross I took them off before I went to bed. They claim to have breakfast- it was a joke. Even the coffee in the lobby in the morning was bad. I was sorry I had booked this hotel and would never stay here again.
