“Great stay, great price and location!”

As far as hotels go, I'd totally stay here again. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, and the service was good. The Wi-fi was a bit spotty in the rooms, but it was recently added and can only get better over time. Book it... It's a good choice

“Left there two days ago and we're already booking another stay.”

Our room was very comfortable and clean, with two queen sized beds. We ate in both restaurants and enjoyed both. The pool was convenient and comfortable. The personnel were friendly and helpful. This was our first time with them and already we have two other couples looking to stay there in the future. We'll be back.

“Great hotel!”

The hotel was really beautiful. The rooms were very clean and had all the niceties you could want (coffee maker, hairdryer). The kid's zone was a great play area to hang out in at the end of the night. I'd definately recommend this hotel for your stay in the area. We were within short distance from Hershey, Strausburg, Roadside America, and of course Dutch Wonderland. Great central location to hit all the fun spots the area has to offer.

“Fantastic stay!! Thank you!”

My husband and I stayed at the Lancaster Host for 3 days mid-week. We were overwhelmed with the friendliness of the entire staff. The food in both the restaurants was fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. Our bed was soooo comfortable, although we didn't care for the tiny pillows - I suggest they go back to regular sized pillows. We also would have appreciated a few more channels on the TV. The pool area was clean, comfortable, and BIG. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed walking with our little dog. While the place could use with a bit of updating, nothing really interfered with the enjoyment of our stay. We will be back!

“Second Time there and will go again”

The hotel was very clean. We had no problems with the room. There is a very nice family style restaurant on the same side of the highway that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is within walking distance of the hotel. Any interaction we had with hotel personnel was very helpful. The staff was quite helpful and friendly. We liked the fact that we were close to shopping and most anything else we wanted to do.

“Excellent Place”

The Bad reviews are not justified based on our experience. There are a few crack marks in the sink or tub and the fitness center and game room are not big and the outside pool just opened. The mini golf is basically for kids and needs to be maintained and working. Yes we walked a few steps. If these things are important to you then go to a five star hotel and pay $200-300 per night. The price and room was great, the staff went out of their way, the rooms were cleaned every day, the people were friendly, the grounds were beautiful and the location-location-location- could not be better. We stayed for six days and hope to go back next year.

“Good experience.”

Lancaster Host is very close to many of the hot spots in Lancaster. Within 1-2 miles are Rockvale Outlets, Sight and Sound Theaters, American Music Theater, and much more. We have stayed here several times. A nice outdoor pool and bar is located in the middle of the hotel complex. We ate lunch twice at the indoor bar/restaurant on this trip. The food was excellent. We had the best chicken Caesar wrap that we ever ate! Our only mildly negative comment is that the majority of the staff on this trip were not the most friendly. But don't let that deter you. On our last trip, the staff (especially the pool and pool bar staff) were very friendly.
