Expected MorePosted Sep 15, 2014
The hotel needs updating and needs to allow the customers the ability to change room temperature. Our room was 50 degrees with the air still on. There was no switch to cut heat on, only a switch to cut the air off. They gave us a space heater that was not effective enough to heat up the room. The high was in the 60s and the low was 48. I was glad we only stayed one night because I had two kids.

never againPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: close to the outlets
Cons: needs to be updated
Location: Shopping, theater, Amish culture
When we check in the desk clerk wasn' t too pleasant , we asked about the pool , and she took us the there wasn't and continental breakfast for people who book with a THIRD PARTY... Tried to take a shower after we arrived, very little hot water and the pressure wasn't any more than that of a garden hose...The same thing the following morning... we needed ice for our cooloer.. note on it said if u need ice please contact front desk I don't even think it was operational ..When checking out we told the supervisor of our dislikes and she told us that she would advise management!!! NEVER AGAIN...

Hotel needs updated.Posted Sep 3, 2014
Hotel was clean and comfortable but the hotel needs some updating. The hallways especially. Some ceiling tiles were missing and duct work was exposed. Ate at the restaurant and the food was very good.

The hotel need to be upgraded.Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: I did not like anything. Will stay at a different next time. sorry LANCASTER HOST.
Cons: Its was my wife two kids and I. There was one towel for the 4 of us. When I called up for more towels. They said they can only give us one more towel
Location: There is a lot to do around there.
I remember going there about 15 years ago and it was outstanding. Now it was so disappointing. Its was my wife two kids and I. There was one towel for the 4 of us. When I called up for more towels. They said they can only give us one more towel. I had to ask for 4 towels each day that we were there.

Nice location, but in need of repair and cleaning.Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Kids Zone and location.
Cons: Clean up
Location: Shopping, fun things for kids, restaurants, the Amish.
Our room had one bar of soap, no shampoo etc, hair dryer did not work and the sink emptied very slowly. We had two rooms and in that room the ceiling , in places, looked like it was ready to fall. Floors were not the cleanest.. Ice machine was broken. The out door pool was filled all around with loads of dead bugs. Bugs were flying all over and the life guard was batting away bugs that were attacking her. The exercise room was dirty and equipment should be replaced,, the bike was broken and the treadmill was dirty and unsanitary. The room need a can of Lysol. The indoor pool was pretty good. Some heavy puddles around the sitting area. Kids Zone was very nice, grandkids loved it. Foyer was pretty clean with a charming decor. Front desk was alert and helpful.

Never againPosted Aug 23, 2014
The hotel staff was nice... The hotel itself was atrocious. The room was deplorable (the rug and bathroom were disgusting). The toilet couldn't be flushed more than once in a 20 min period. The phone didn't work. The food was absolutely gross and the dishes were not clean. Absolutely never again

Okay HotelPosted Aug 21, 2014
The nicest part of the hotel is the lobby. That's it. The rooms are small, beds are uncomfortable. Complained twice about our toilet being clogged and on our last day the water wasn't working. Horrible.. The two pools are nice except one is freezing. The hotel needs some work before it totally falls apart.

Nice but so differentPosted Aug 19, 2014
The hotel is good, but I don't think I will go there again. It has fancy lobby but everything else is antique. Rooms were cold at night in August and they said it is old system, works either AC or heat and of course they had the heat off. Outdoor pool looks nice but so cold, indoor good but so crowded and very high in clorreen. The thing my kids like was the one hour they do only in weekend about decorate your own cupcake or doing s'mores. Over all the stay was ok and different, good to try for one time not more.
