Great Hotel and Location

Stayed one night, it was really nice though. Clean and friendly staff also. There's lots to do there as well as nearby. I'd go back again for sure!

Nice hotel, did the job.

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Remodel, pool (outdoor bar was cautioned off, had a lot of amenities but not in use)
We spent the day at the Dutch Wonderland and decided to stay the night in the area. We drove to various hotels seeking one with a decent pool. I was very happy to find this one. It seemed to be very busy and the place to be. Unfortunately when checking in, the staff could not find our reservation we booked via Expedia. Because they were so busy, we had to wait for someone to come back from break. It was a bit uncomfortable to sit in the busy lobby with our luggage and a cranky 5 year old. We finally did get our room and the rooms were okay. Definitely can use a remodel as the indoor pool was dirty, the ceilings have leaking/stains as you walk down the hallways, and the room could have been cleaner. Other than that, did the job, would stay again for the rate we got via Expedia.

I was there for a conference. The rooms were nothing fancy. The patio door had to be fixed during our stay. There were issues with the plumbing one night, and we only had EXTREMELY hot water for a few hours (not good when you are traveling with a 4 year old). Our toilet ran almost all the time.

Old hotel in a good location

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff when you are able to get their attention of busy assisting other customers, nice pool. Kids enjoyed smores at night
Cons: Hotel needs a face lift or TLC across the board and probably more staff.
Location: Close to Dutch Wonderland, main reason for our booking. Near by outlet malls and all historic Lancaster attractions.
It's a old property, very little has been done to keep up, there are trucks parked to assist with air conditioning, boiler room indicating hotel infact cannot handle for capacity. We had no hot watter the day we arrived to later learn hotel boiler system broke. No ice in vending machines, call front desk no one picks up, go to front desk and wait in line to get ice. Carpets in the room we stayed were stickky, bathroom needs renovation - end to end.

Convenient to attractions

Wanted to downgrade our room. Very little hot water. Bathroom sink leaked. Not handicap accessible. Only one bellman for facility. Would not recommend this place as it seems that they only cater to large groups.

Pros: Friendly staff. Nice room. Great pool.
Cons: The restaurant "Legends" could have a better chef
Location: Great location. Close to all major attractions.
Upon arriving, our room was ready. We knew check in was at 4:00, but we arrived at 12:00. This was certainly a plus, thought we'd have to change into our suits in the restrooms.. Room was comfy. Pool was great. The big disappointment was the Hotel's restaurant "Legends". While our server was very pleasant and attentive, the food was pretty bad. The staff here is wonderful.

Great for families.

Pros: Outdoor pool. Location is great. Clean.
Cons: AC for the exercise area, keep indoor pool working.
Location: Dutch Wonderland, Tanger Outlets, Rockvale Outlets
Second stay here but wasn't as nice as we remembered. Beds not comfy, water pressure in shower low. Indoor pool closed most of the visit. Workout area is not air conditioned. Outdoor pool is great and nice indoor play area for younger kids. Overall mediocre.
