Personal TripPosted Jul 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Motel 6 was fine. Nothing fancy. It had a pool that was well used by the other guests. The room was large with a kingsize bed. There are no frills but for the price I had a clean secure place to stay. Should I have a similar trip where all I need is a bed I will look for a Motel 6 again.

Service great!Posted Jun 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Wonderful staff!! Rooms were clean. Only down side is that the hotel itself seems to be in disrepair. The sidewalks on the both floors have a significant wave to them. As in the concrete has about a 5-6 inch drop in elevation every 10 feet or so. Not sure why, but it was a little concerning. The first floor rooms (only) seem to have been renovated and include Pergo type "hardwood" floors. There was no continental breakfast, which they let us know was not to be provided via in the amenities list on hotels.com, however, it was very nice that they offered complimentary coffee every morning even though they didn't do breakfast. Overall, very enjoyable stay.

Motel 6 - LancasterPosted Jul 22, 2013
Cons: check-in; check-out procedures. Shower (very low water pressure)
Location: located right off the interstate
You get what you pay for - price was good for a rundown hotel. Couldn't even speak to an attendant to check out.

Everything was great, except the vending machine needed service. Great bed, clean room, quiet.

unbelievable!!the worst experience i have ever hadPosted Apr 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
i opened the door and the curtains were filthy and had rotted holes in them, the room smelled, the bathroom toilet seat was hanging on-barely and the screws were filthy that held it. i had paid extra for a kitchenette and stopped for groceries on the way. much to my dismay, there were absolutely NO utensils,plates,cups,pans.......nothing!!!! how was i supposed to cook?eat? there wasn't even an alarm clock! i have never had to supply my own pots, pans, forks etc. wow...i took photos for any motel 6 people that would like to see. as a traveling professional...i was appalled. never again. i am now in a much less expensive room that is gorgeous! with many amenities available including granite, cooktop, pool, dishwasher, stainless steel appliances etc, clean and lovely. i slept in my clothing,on top of my own blanket for two days..
