OK hotel in the heart of PA Dutch CountryPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: It was centrally located to the area/tourist attractions. Walking distance to a few restaurants.
Cons: Update room furnishings would have made it seem less shabby.
Hotel had definitely seen better days- worn/scratched furniture, drawers that were warped and wouldn't shut the whole way, but the linens/bathroom were clean.
Affordable isn't always nicePosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: That they had a fridge and microwave, not that we needed it but it was nice to know it was there.
Cons: size of room, size of bed, size of bathroom
Location: It was in Lancaster PA area there are lots of resturants and outlets close by.
The room was sorta small the bathroom was super small. There were crumbs found on the floor that the cleaning people must not have missed I don't know how when it was in plain site. We were in a non smoking room which certainly smelled like smoke there were cigarette butts all over the ground outfront of our room.

Not bad for a night's restPosted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: water pressure in the shower, the hot water was hot enough for me to enjoy, staff were very pleasant and friendly.
Cons: actually enameling the tubs instead of painting them with latex house paint that flakes off, better beds, better parking lot and sidewalk maintence
The steps and sidewalks were overloaded with ice, the heater in the room couldn't decide if it wanted to be warm hot or cold.beds weren't nearly as comfortable as other red roofs i've stayed in. towels were hard and scratchy

Basic accommodationsPosted Feb 16, 2014
I have stayed here for a winter conference several times. It is an inexpensive comfortable place to stay. All your basic needs are provided.

Open MindedPosted Feb 10, 2014
As usual I made my check and made sure the beds and bathroom was clean. Everything seemed nice. They even gave you their wifi password. They are transitioning from swiping a card to open the bedroom to just passing the card over a magnetized door knob. Because of that the doors to enter the hallways remained opened and it was freeZing. There was someone in the facility that was smoking (not cigarettes) and the entrance into the room reeked. The bedrooms were always cleaned but the doors remained open. They failed to make sure the bedroom door and make sure it was closed.

Low price hotel.Posted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: The price.
Cons: Cleanliness and room upkeep.
Location: Located across from the Expo Center and less than a mile from shopping outlets and Dutch Wonderland.
The desk chair had a thick layer dust on it. There was paint peeling in the bathroom on the tub. No inside corridor to the rooms. Very skimpy on the towels and replenishment.

Would stay againPosted Jan 13, 2014
Staff was very nice! Location was nice, my only complaint was the mattress felt like sleeping on a sheet of wood. Other then that, everything was truly enjoyable for our overnight stay.
