“We had a very very nice stay here”
We had 2 rooms and traveled with 4 small children. It was a very nice stay here and I would go back. It was clean, quite, ample parking and the employees were very nice and acomadating to our needs. I requested at least one room to have a frdge and it did. The brakefast was not what I expected though, it was all carbs and not even waffels. They need to ad some more protines like yogurts, bananas, peanut butter, oranges. Over all the price is right and I think they deserve a better rating then they have.
“handy & clean & inexpensive”
hotel was good-breakfast was ample -very friendly-helpful-clean..only 1 problem they could not give us instructions to the hotel from our freway..and the reservation paper only had street address--it needs to be written that 30 turns into Lincoln hwy we were from out of state and our map did not have Lincoln hwy on it ..the clerk was very worried about us but not able to instruct us ..but the rest of the stay was great!
“very nice!”
The outside looks a bit dated and such, but the pool looked nice. When I got inside my room, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and pretty up-to-date. The man at the check-in desk was very nice and was so helpful to me. I wish I could remember his name... The continental breakfast was good and gave me the nourishment I needed for the morning...which was quite important to me being that I was pregnant! Everything worked very well in my room as well. If I'm going to be back in that area, I will definitely stay there again. :o)
“Positive Hotel Experience”
We checked in March 20th, 2010, at 300pm. We took a nap after a long drive. After our nap, we went out to the theatre to see "Joseph". The next morning, a Continental Breakfast was waiting for us in the lobby, which saved us from having to eat out at a resteraunt. We checked out that morning at 10:00am, to be on our way back home. I would definatly consider staying there again, if I was ever in the area again.
“Good, convenient hotel in Lancaster, PA”
This hotel was very well kept, clean and extremely convenient to the location we were visiting (for a dance competition). The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained daily. The free continental breakfast is about what you'd expect. That is, it's nothing to write home about, consisting of bagels, bread, pastries, cereal, coffee and orange juice. The WiFi was fantastically fast and easy to access. Some of the rooms do not have refrigerators in them, so if you require one you would do well to call ahead. As I said, the staff is very helpful. It is located conveniently on a highway with strip malls, restaurants, attractions and the like all along both sides for a good 2 or 3 miles of it. You will not have to look far when you want to have lunch or dine. All in all, it was exactly what we were looking for, which was basically a clean, comfortable and convenient place to sleep and keep our stuff while we attended a competition at a nearby (and far, far more expensive hotel/conference center). We easily saved a couple of hundred without giving up anything except the slight convenience of staying in the same place as the competition. A couple of hundred in exchange for a 2 minute drive? Anytime!
“Old But Comfortable”
The hotel is very old and not updated but comfortable none the less. The staff was great and went out of their way to please. The outdoor pool was great and the free breakfast adequate.
“Good for the price”
I was looking for a low price and picked this place. The pool was nice and the hotel is near everything you could possibly want. The room could've been a little cleaner but it was worth what I paid for it.
“Don't Judge Book by it's Cover”
When we pulled into the lot we wondered 'what did we get ourselves into?' The outside...NOT impressive at all, front desk area...NOT impressive at all...the room was very good, clean, comfortable, quiet. Cannot beat the location if you are looking for the Amish experience in Bird in Hand, Intercourse or Strasburg unless you stayed in those towns. We did not eat the breakfast provided because there is a Cracker Barrel close by and my wife had never had breakfast there.
“Nice Hotel”
The place was nice clean and quiet
“Looks are deceiving”
The hotel was rather rundown, carpets in the entry way have seem better days, the whole hotel has, though the room itself has been upgraded some, a new bathroom, new counters, new toilet and flooring and I think the bed was new. The room A/C worked well and it was very quiet inside, even though we were near a very busy road. We were tired so we went to sleep and had the most incredible nights sleep in a long time in a hotel or on a cruise, this bed was better than the one we had on the Queen Mary 2. The bathroom shower had great pressure in the morning, the water got hot fast. The continental breakfast was adequate, nothing to write home about. So looks are deceiving, if you are only stopping for a night OK, anything longer, not so sure. The area the hotel is in has lots of shopping. two outlet malls almost next door, with lots of shopping in the towns nearby, Intercourse, Bird in Hand and Paradise.
