My stay at Westfield Inn and Suites was pleasant. Is located n a good spot that's close to some of the areas attractions. The only downfall is the railroad tracks behind the facility but other than that my stay was good.

Outdated hotel

Nice location. It was away from the heavy traffic in Lancaster. The carpet in the hallways was stained in numerous spots. The ice machine was not working. The heat did not work. Ran the heating unit on fan. Continental breakfast was not much. They need to put some money updating the hotel. Would not stay there again.

Cons: dated rooms, can see its wear and tear
My experience wasn't the greatest. Check in was ok, tho our room keys had our room number sharpied on them. Not good for security. We checked in, and settled in the room, found the room AC/Heat didn't work. tried the controls could get it to click but no fan. Head to the front desk and the desk staff asked if I unplugged and try the heat again. Didn't know I had to be the maintence dept. Was told someone would stop by, they never did. The unit front cover didn't fit well so it appears it had not worked in the past. We needed some ice but the closest ice maker was out of order, note on it said to use other on the other end of building. Made the trek and didn't find it, guess we didn't need ice. The continental breakfast was ok, hot coffee, fresh donuts. Had cereals and toast. tho no way to cut the bagels or muffins to toast and the milk for cereals was bulk containers. Better if it was single serve cartons. Guess for the price you et what you pay for, location was good to area attractions

Old hotel and employees without patience

Pros: The price.
Cons: Cleaning and food in the breakfast.
When I stayed in this hotel, it was fully booked for the long weekend and the breakfast was a caos. It was a first come first served, so, if you arrived late for breakfast, there wasn't anymore cream cheese, bananas, etc. When I asked for more food, the staff was really impatient. For the price we paid, I can not complain too much, but it is really disgusting to see a lot of hair from other clients in our towels.

Cons: Major carpet cleaning, painting, renovation of rooms. Put out a decent continental breakfast & keep it replenished--or don't attempt to do it at all!!
Location: This trip we discovered the Manor Buffet on 2090 Lincoln Hwy East...Excellent Asian buffet with a GREAT Sushi & Hibachi Bar! Try it! HUGE selection.
Booked King Suite for 2 nights Fri & Sat. Room had a live spider on the floor the size of a quarter on the carpet! Carpet was dirty both in room & in hallways. Sink drain in Kitchenette sink was blocker. Forget the "continental breakfast"!!! No milk for cereal or coffee, the few bagels & donuts that were put out got taken quickly & were not replaced. The orange juice in the dispenser was watered down & had a bad taste to it--it was not drinkable! There is a Bob Evans just up the road & a Denny's a couple miles away so we were able to get something edible for breakfast there. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke although the floor was designated as "non smoking" & it had an overall musty, dank smell. The bathroom was mostly clean, but the inside top of the shower curtain had some mildew. The bed was comfortable, WIFI speed was ok & both TV's worked fine. Refrigerator & microwave in room were fine. There is a lack of AC outlets to plug in a laptop and cell phone chargers--they have not grasped the "workstation" concept yet for their rooms. I would NOT stay there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Price
Cons: We won't be back.
Location: It was near a lot of things to do in Lancaster, PA.
1st of all, the guy gave us a dirty room, then the 2nd room had missing light bulbs, hair dryer didn't work, and some outlets were faulty.

Opened the door to a dirty rag lying on the floor. Room was not swept from the previous guests. Nothing worked...vending machines, ice machine etc. Would never stay there again.

Hotel is run down

The hotel is rundown and dated. The carpets are worn. The shower is moldy in the caulking and the floor is Vinyl linoleum. It badly needs a remodel. The room smelled musty even after running the air conditioning for hours. The room was clean and the staff was fine. But don't stay here if you are looking for something even slightly upscale. I've stayed at other chain hotels for the same money that were much better appointed.
